Seeing the stars from your bed doesn't happen often but i got to do this here!!! The cabin is beautiful and has amazing views of the sea and trees. Mary is an extraordinary hostess, open-minded, generous and very warm and she will make you feel at home immediately. Bring food like soups and bread for evening and lunch, as there are no restaurants or cafes in the area. In exchange for those, you ll have amazing views and solitude. The cabin is very comfortable. The only con, the compost washroom gets smelly so be ready to air the space.

Response from Mary:
So sorry about the washroom Coco, I noticed it today when I was up there and will have maintenance done on it ASAP to eliminate the problem. Again my apologies. It was a delight hosting you.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful place! Mary was so gracious, friendly and knowledgeable, I felt I had met a lifelong friend. She literally knows everything about the area and what little she doesn't know, her friends do. And, her breakfasts are out of this world! Very quiet in the well-appointed cabin up the hill behind the house. An expansive, beautiful view. A perfect base for sojourns to all the remarkable places on the Southern Avalon Peninsula. Mary is a treasure and my visit will always be a fond remembrance.
