Make yourself at home in my spacious apartment only steps away from it all -right in the center of Little Italy (great food and pastries!), along the freedom trail, surrounded by historic sites and quick easy access to the subway and airport. This is a 2 bedroom apartment - it is shared with only myself.

The space

The apartment is located just 10 steps from Hanover, the main street in the North End (Little Italy) of Boston.

Please note there is NO elevator (as is typical of the majority of North End apartments) and I am on the 5th floor.

My apartment is the top floor of the building so there are no apartments above or next door which cuts down on any noise; also makes for a nice view. Your bedroom is in the back of the apartment so you don't get much street noise.

The kitchen is available for your use; please clean up after yourself.

I'm very accessible via phone, text, email, etc. I work during the week and am often out during the weekends so will only be at the apartment some.

There is wireless internet in the apartment so the password will be provided to you upon check in.

I'm very flexible on arrival and departure times, leaving luggage, etc so just ask!

Shampoo, conditioner, soap and a hair dryer are provided for your use.

Guest access

The bedroom has a full size bed. The apartment has 1 bathroom, a very large (for Boston!) kitchen, living room, and dining room.

There is a coin operated washer and dryer in the building.

Interaction with guests

I always like to chat in advance to make sure you have everything needed for your stay and to give recommendations, etc. I will be at the apartment some but respect your privacy. I come and go quietly.

Other things to note

There is wireless internet in the apartment so the password will be provided to you upon check in.

I'm very flexible on arrival and departure times, leaving luggage, etc so just ask!

Liz's place is amazing. You can't get a better location in Boston, esp. if you are visiting the city as a tourist. We practically walked everywhere and/or took the T. Yes! The stairway is steep so be ready for it but its good exercise ;) The place is spacious and filled with lovely books and reading crannies in case you get a rainy day (which we did!), so you can enjoy a couple of hours indoors too. As a host, Liz was super helpful- she gave us great suggestions about which tours to take and some places we could picnic on the wharf... so appreciated! Liz is truly a superhost! :)

stop scrolling through listings and BOOK THIS LITTLE GEM NOW before someone swipes it from you. the host: you will find liz to be a genuinely kind, gentle, and generous soul who goes well above and beyond most hosts to make sure you feel accommodated and prepared for a great stay in beantown. she is an instant communicator who provides great tips for food, drink, parking, anything you want. she's the kind of person you would want to hang out with back home, she feels like an old friend. the digs: holy smokes, this place is exactly what you want. the front door is about 20 steps from hanover street, the center of the best part of the north end which is the best part of boston. walkable to the water, great parks, dining, etc. we only took the train once to get to fenway park, everything else is right there. if so inclined, you can walk right past the hotels where folks are paying $500+/night and just laugh :) her apartment is clean, sunny, tasteful, comfortable - a perfect home base as you explore. additionally you are only 12 steps or so to the building's roof - my wife and i took some wine up there every night and talked, laughed, and took in the beauty of boston's skyline. the next time we go to boston we will schedule our trip around when we can get this place again, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. thanks liz for providing all we could have wanted and more!

Elizabeth is really nice and her place was perfect for our last trip to Boston. We loved the Italian neighborhood. The room was really clean and the apartment was so lovely and cute :) we really recommend this place!

Elizabeth's place was as nice, spacious and clean as in her pictures. She was nice and easy to get a hold of and offered city recommendations. The location is amazing and really enjoyed the North End neighborhood. I'd stay there again. Two small things work mentioning but are in no way reasons to not stay. I'm only mentioning them because I didn't catch them in her description and felt I would have wanted to know. -no TV (I like watching the morning news) - it's 4 flights up steep stairs. (For those with heavy bags like me ) ;) Again, just an FYI! Boston was fun!!

Let me start off by saying, Elizabeth is one of, if not the best host we've ever encountered. From the time we booked till the time we left, she gave us so much helpful info and was super responsive. Now, about the apartment, the location is superb! Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, you are so close to everything in the area. It is a very short walk to The Wharf, Faneuil Hall, some of the most amazing restaurants in the city... as well as many more locales of interest! Liz's recommendations for places to eat and things to do were spot on (Monica's Mercato was seriously the best sandwich I've ever had). The apartment had all the amenities that we desired and had a very home like feel. The building we were in always felt safe and was maintained in a clean inviting condition. At times we would just sit at the kitchen table, eat, and look down the block at the throngs of people walking the streets in search of that perfect restaurant (Giacomos is literally across the street). If you're into it, beer, wine, and spirits are available right down stairs at the corner shop and there is a 7/11 right across from that. We didn't stay in the apartment a lot but I can tell you that the bed was very comfortable and the wireless was excellent. All in all, I will tell you that both this apartment and Elizabeth were top notch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
