Really enjoyed our stay in the Miner's Cottage. Wendy is a fantastic host. On the couple of times we contacted her, she answered almost right away. Check-in was straightforward and, as others have said in their reviews, the Miners Cottage is a great base for exploring the Verde Valley and/or Sedona and the perfect location if you want to enjoy the numerous wine tasting rooms, restaurants and galleries of Jerome. The decor is great fun and the hot, efficient and private outdoor shower (which is right outside the bedroom) fitted in perfectly. There's a lovely free-standing bath if you prefer. The various outdoor sitting areas are ideal for an early evening cocktail or morning coffee before walking the couple of hundred yards into town. As is clear in the description on the airbnb website, there are no cooking facilities in the room although there is a coffee maker, a good supply of teas and organic coffee and a European sized fridge which we found really helpful. Given the abundance of great places to eat in Jerome and Clarkdale/Cottonwood I'm not sure we would have used cooking facilities had they been available. If it's important to you, cell phone reception is a little iffy in Jerome. We had a great stay and we'll definitely be back.

Gotta be top ten of cozy romantic hideaways! Room full of mining town mystique with historical ambiance. We had sun, mist, fog, sunsets and beautiful moonrise over the amazing high desert vistas. Walked most everywhere within Jerome's vortex of quirky fun.

Cutest little cottage this side of Arizona. Outside shower, ancient wood building and decor, perfect for your visit to Jerome!

This is a great place for a getaway to Jerome! The cottage is in a great location-- walking distance to everything in town and with beautiful panoramic views from the front porch. We could sit there with coffee or wine for hours on end. Check-in was easy and communication with Wendy was quick. Be aware that there's an outdoor shower, but doesn't feel the most private so we stuck to the bathtub inside. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute, excellent location, very much appropriate to the little old mining town vibe. Wendy was very responsive in communication and we had absolutely no issues with finding or accessing the house. Would probably prefer the upper story unit rather than the lower, which we stayed in, just for the kitchen and additional space. Loved the little sitting areas, including the front porch. Great view of area around Sedona in the distance. Within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Outdoor shower was fun.

This place has a view you will get lost in for hours! It's right down the street from all the restaurants and shops but far enough to be completely quiet at night. Amazing history of the house as well as the town in general. If you want to get a feel for Jerome this place personifies what it's all about. Will definitely be back!!

The Hideaway was beautiful and cozy. It had everything we needed, the mini coffee maker and fridge were a plus. We enjoyed sitting out front or on the swing sipping warm drinks watching the town come to life each morning and the crowd die down in the evenings. We were walking distance from everything. It felt like a mini home away from home. We loved it and will definitely be back!

On a random road trip 25 years ago I stumbled upon Jerome and the vast beauty of the Verde Valley.
Like a storybook village Jerome is a one street town perched a mile high on the mountain. From here time takes on a new context. Watching the day break and the sleepy artists town come to life, after one nights stay I knew I wanted to spend much more time here. This is how the love affair began.
My homes are a notch or two above what you would expect for this area. The Miners Cottage has been restored to a decedent level of comfort, all to make you feel at home, inspire relaxation, and revel in your surroundings.
The Creekfront Hideaway is a glorious home and again reflects my love of creating a statement in every room whilst keeping the beauty of the outdoors an aspect of every room.
