Location, location, location Rose street is great for restaurants and bars but away from the craziness of the royal mile. Jonathon is a no nonsense host. Everything you need is there. The apartment is clean, easily reached on the first floor up two short flights of stairs. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. A new kitchen and sufficient bathroom. We will book again if we return to the fringe

Jonathan's flat is in a great central location - we walked almost everywhere in Edinburgh. Jonathan was very accommodating when our arrival time was delayed. The pictures give an accurate representation of the flat. With the central location, we expected street noise - and there was some on the Saturday night, but very quiet on Sunday and Monday. Thanks for everything!

We were a group of 6 adults who visited in August. There were many positives about the flat. There are three good sized double bedrooms but the living area is not adequate for six people. There is not enough seating as it just isn't large enough. The kitchen was well equipped (just needed a few more wine gasses!) The location was central for shopping and it's a short walk from the castle. We visited for the Fringe and Pleasance Courtyard, Guilded Balloon, Assembly are around a 20 minute walk. Summerhall is a good 40 mins. It is also near a lot of lovely restaurants so you didn't have to go far to get a nice meal. The main downfall of the property was the noise at night. It is next to a disco pub that was open until the early hours of the morning. The music could be heard in the flat until around 1:30 am and people were outside the bar shouting until around 2 am. This was on a weekend, during the week the noise was not an issue as the bar wasn't open as late, if it rained - even better- as no one was outside! Overall, we did enjoy our stay and we have a great time at the Fringe it was just such a shame about the noise.

Response from Jonathan:
Music from the nearby bar should not be audible from the flat - the bar is in breach of its licence if it is. Had Lindsay reported this to me, I would have sent the Council noise enforcement team out to get this sorted out. That said, this is not the flat for someone looking for a quiet haven to escape the Festival, as it is in the centre of the city, which is unquestionably busy and full of people during the month of August.

Jonathan's flat in Edinburgh was perfect! The location couldn't be better, and the flat was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Jonathan was easy to communicate with and made it easy for us to get in and settled. We highly recommend it.

This is a great little place in a great neighborhood. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. There is a great big guide book with instructions for all appliances, etc. If you need a 3 bedroom place in the center of Edinburgh, I recommend checking this place out.

Jonathan's description was very accurate - the flat is very clean and spacious and in a nice area close to the centre of Edinburgh. Everything worked as we expected. It was a very good stay.

This was a great little flat in central Edinburgh -big, high-ceilinged bedrooms and conveniently situated for everything. Jonathon was very accommodating and everything was meticulously presented. It was great for a family stay- the communal areas might be a bit small were there 6 adults who wanted to eat or spend a lot of time in the flat, but for a comfortable base to go out from, it was perfect. One bedroom had no view, but if you're staying over a weekend, it's worth choosing that one, as it's definitely the quietist!
