First of all I have to say that Benji and Juanita are the most nicest host I have ever met! The place we stayed was super cute. You will have a nice, clean and save little house! Downstairs is a spacious living room combined with a open kitchen and a little bathroom. The kitchen has all the necessary things you will need for you stay (big fridge, a little freezer, stove, oven, cutlery, plates, cubs, glasses, pans etc.) Upstairs are the 2 separate bedrooms with really great working a/c's and a shared bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Both bedrooms have also a little balcony. After all there's also a great little pool which your allowed to use any time! And a save parking spot inside the property. We really enjoyed our stay and I totally recommend you guys this place!!

Response from Benji:
Thank you for the detailed description of the house. To be honest, you made it much better than me. We also had a great time and enjoyed talking to you and I am sure Robben and Solovina (our dogs) will be happy when you come back. This is your home anytime. ;)

This is without any doubt the best airbnb I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect, close to everything in the middle of Quintana roo main roads to go to all the main beaches and cenotes, and far enough from the noisy downtown of Playa del Carmen but very easy to access when we needed to. Benji and Juana were lovely and helful all the time, as well as Violeta who assisted them; they truly gave us their best suggestions, and all of them were spot on; fantastic restaurants, beaches and ive cream! We needed few tips and they were always very attentive yet leaving us alone. The house is like a little paradise, with palm trees, birds and a lovely swimingpool. I will defenetely come back to this region and I hope to come back to their house and will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you Juana and Benji!

This property is a real find. We really enjoyed our stay here. Violeta deals with the airnbnb for Benji and sent us a lot of info before our arrival, including directions and the exact address to give to the taxi driver. We didn't meet her but she was always quick to respond if we had any queries or needed anything.Benji was friendly and helpful as were his staff, Diana, Chewey and Lydia. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is a good size with comfortable lounge and dining area. Good wifi. The kitchen is fairly basic but well equipped apart from pans. We asked for extras and they were supplied immediately. The two bed rooms are a good size and the master bedroom had the most comfortable bed we have slept in for a long time. What really makes the place is the lovely gardens and the pool. We spent a lot of time relaxing here. Its in a safe residential area. A large supermarket is 15 mins away. It takes about 30 mins to walk to the centre of Playa and about 40 mins to the beach. We didn't mind the walk but there are bikes at the place you can use free of charge and a taxi is only 50 pesos. The fact it was quiet and peaceful and not in the busy area was a real plus for us. Would highly recomend.

Our stay at Benji's was great. House is as pictured, if not better. Lydia, Diana, and Chewy (the grounds/housekeepers) were very friendly and always on the premises in a separate house just next to this main one, able to help with anything we needed, especially with getting taxis. If you are not driving yourself, taxis are probably going to be your best option with getting around as the house is situated relatively far from the main strip ("5th Ave"). With trying to get a taxi, the most convenient way, which we unfortunately only discovered toward the end of our trip, is the app "Taxi Amigo PDC". Before learning about this app it was sometimes difficult/a hassle to get a taxi with the phone numbers we were given. During our stay at Benji's/in Playa, we found that some of the best food we had was off of the main strip (obviously touristy & restaurants there have largely adapted to tourists' tastes). One of the best restaurants we found being El Hongo which is actually just two blocks down from Benji's place. Authentic food, great hippie/natural vibe, & extremely cheap. I regret not having eaten there more often and miss it already! Overall, Benji's place is a great choice for a stay in Playa del Carmen to have you feeling like a more upscale local. And the p(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)l! Perfect any time of day and really helped make our stay even better. The very green, lush yard allows for some cool photo ops too. Amazing value for the price, stay here!

This is a lovely place to stay! I would definitely stay again. The place is beautiful with a gorgeous courtyard, lots of birds and a pool. It was very private and quiet. I loved it! My only hesitation for anyone would be that it is outside the Centre and if you're hoping to be close to the action or the beach it's a bit far. I liked the walking and biking to and from the beach and it added to the experience! It's also in a real neighborhood with no tourists. I found it easy to get around but it may not be convenient for everyone.

We stayed for 4 nights and the villa was lovely, nice garden with a large pool. Violeta and Benji were great hosts that helped us with anything we needed and recommended very nice places around the area. The house has a good size and its very cozy and inviting. The nature of the surrounding is very magic and we highly recommend this place for anyone planning to visit playa del carmen. The housekeeper Julio was extremely nice and he was willing to assist in anything that was needed, always with a big smile and a nice attitude. Thank you for the stay.
