Lovely place to stay. Close to the beach and the bus routes. Also felt very safe. The owners were very thoughtful and the flat has everything in it that you might need. They were also very helpful when one of the appliances wasn't working.

This flat is nestled in the middle of a riotous garden from which steps lead down to a pool ringed by hammocks and sun loungers. A river rushes through the property from the mountain to the sea. It is a uniquely romantic setting, somewhere to stay while writing one's memoirs. The facilities in the flat are basic but adequate. Entertaining even another couple would require more glassware and crockery than is available. The steps down to the garden are uneven and sometimes steep so it is possibly not suitable for young children or people with mobility problems. It is a 15 minute walk to Camps Bay, but there seemed to be no problem finding parking for cars. This is a special place for special people.

Very nice place. The Location is awesome. Only a few minutes by car to Cape Town. You can also walk to the beautiful white beach of Camps Bay, there are also Shops and Restaurants very Close. The neighbourhood is great, a lot of impressing Villas around and twelve Apostel right behind you. Would book it again.

We had a truly relaxing time here in this little gem of a sanctuary! My 2 sisters, my baby niece and nephew all stayed in Studio B. The other studios were fully booked so we knew it would be quite a squeeze (it was like a big fun sleepover), and Mark the owner was super helpful and hospitable - he organised an extra single bed and also a playpen for my baby niece which was very useful indeed. We were a bit concerned about the many steps but it turned out to be totally fine for my 3 year old energetic nephew - we couldn't have chosen a better and more fun, adventurous place for him to explore (in the little mountain stream that runs through the garden), swim and climb and chill out in the hammocks... A fantastic place to come home to after a long day out. The studio itself is very clean and well equipped - there is a cleaner who does a great job (she will also wash and iron your laundry for a little extra payment) and a household manager you can ask for any favours (he helped us out with something in the middle of the night and was our hero!). Although it could do with some modernisation, and perhaps a more minimalist contemporary look indoors, we knew from the pictures not to expect this, and what we were really interested in was the incredible setting and charm of the outdoors area - and that is really where Mark wins hands down - he has put so much love into it turned this patch of garden into a beautiful, incredibly peaceful and relaxing sanctuary, a truly magical and special place - you can sit there in the morning or evening, watch the sun set over the ocean, listen to the exotic birds, and feel like you're the only ones around for miles (in a far away jungle), forgetting how central you actually are in Camps Bay. I even found a nice quiet spot to do my morning meditation. We were on a tight budget, and there's no way we could have afforded to stay in / and enjoy this expensive area had we not found this little gem. It's also very conveniently positioned and just a few minutes walk from a well stocked supermarket and an excellent grill house (amazing Madagascan filet!). I had the opportunity to meet Mark in person shortly before my sisters arrived, and you can immediately tell how warm and welcoming and caring a host he is. As long as you don't expect "modern and contemporary" you'll have an amazing time - it's more about winding down and switching off here, finding peace and tranquility. It's a little different, a little quirky in a beautiful charming way!

Sorry I could not visit again - still hobbling around on crutches.....On a whole big mission to get super healthy and no more gymnastics for a while!
