Response from Anna:
Dear guest, my apologies for your most unhappy sentiment. There not being a fluent English speaker in your party was a challenge and I could have typed out what I was trying to say to you and then put in (Hidden by Airbnb) translate. For clarity here, and in rebuttal of your not being able to use everything, this was clearly stated on the house rules and guest access which were available to you before checking in. When the first question you had was where was the fish market I thought perhaps I should reiterate our 'no oven no stove' light cooking policy. We instated this after a guest put a pizza in oven on grill and nearly caught the kitchen on fire. We also do this because we are a family living our normal every day lives and need to be able to get in our kitchen at all times. Thank you for observing the no oven policy, but cooking several courses of fish in our microwave and making soup in our kettle was unacceptable. I feel your bad review is unjust and only in retaliation for us asking for money for new kettle we had to purchase after you left. In future, you should read more carefully your hosts rules before booking a home which is unsuitable to your needs. All being said we do wish you a pleasant rest of your trip, and do sincerely understand that when you are far away from home you want the food you are used to which is why you did try to follow the rules of the house. Take care.
