Enjoyed our two night break at the cottage. Sabrina and John are very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. We liked the location as just off the Main Street of Mac, but tucked away giving a sense of seclusion. It's ideal if you must want to arrive and park the car up as there is every time of eatery on your doorstep and a large supermarket. The shops are interesting, individual and quirky. We enjoyed some lovely local walks with stunning scenery. The cottage is spacious for two, clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, good shower and plenty of hot water. Thank you Sabrina and John

The cottage was lovely and perfectly situated near the supermarket and behind the main house. So you can have a very comforting quit stay there. Although the city is very small and the cafés always closed when we returned from our trips, the supermarket was pen toll 11pm. Sabrina and John were very friendly and helpful. And we really loved the cat acting like a dog We couldn't make the washing machine work, but maybe it was just us. The city is directly in front of snowdonia and a good stay for trips to Aberystwyth and the national park. All in all wer had a great stay. Thank you very much!

A wonderful stone cottage in the heart of Machynlleth with delightfully friendly hosts! Very easy to walk everywhere in town but tucked away in the back garden behind the main house for privacy. Absolutely lovely.

We have lived in and around Machynlleth since 1982 and love the area and the people. Having worked at the Centre for Alternative Technology for 30 years we are strong advocates of renewables, recycling, organic gardening etc. We have a large organic garden and grow as much veg as we can.

We enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures, and also like to travel using Airbnb when we can.

We like playing board games and have started a board games club (which meets twice a month) in one of the local pubs, and have built up quite a nice collection of interesting board games.
