Our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood, backing onto greenbelt and trails, with mountains directly behind our yard. Easy travel to any of Squamish's world renowned sports, and a hot tub to revive your body after a hard days fun. Wander out our backyard, and have access to the following without setting foot on pavement: Rock climbing (Chief, Squaw, Smoke Bluffs), kayaking (Stawamus and Mamquam Rivers), countless mountain biking and hiking trails, backcountry and xc skiing (seasonal).
Our home is ideally suited to couples or families seeking a respite from the city, and easy access to all things outdoors. Whether relaxing in the garden or hot tub, or running out the door to go climb/bike/paddle/ski, the location is perfect for adventurous souls. Good doggies are welcome!
The layout is as follows: Master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Spare bedroom with double bed and access to the main bathroom. There is also an office that can be converted into a small bedroom with a double bed if a third bedroom is needed.
Prime access to the outdoors. Great trails at your doorstep to go for walks with your 2 or 4-legged friends. It's possible to hit Squamish's vast trail network from our backyard.
Interaction with guests
We can typically be available for guests however we may be out of town.
Other things to note
We have a TV, however we do not have cable. The TV is connected to Apple TV, Netflix and a Blu-ray DVD player for guest use, but don't expect to catch the latest show or live sports! The real show is outdoors!
No smoking and be respectful of our home! Please enjoy your stay and your surrounds, and all we ask is that you leave the space in the same condition as you found it.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they are well behaved and fully house trained. We have a black cat named Ash who lives outside while we're away. She's very shy and you probably won't see her, as she's usually busy keeping the neighbourhood rodent-free.
Myself and Zoe are living the dream in Squamish, spending all our free time outside, mountain biking, kiteboarding, backcountry skiing and snowmobiling. Zoe is a fitness trainer and competitive triathlete, while I work in law enforcement. I am a BC boy, and Zoe is the best thing that ever came out of Australia. We both love to travel, and I'd have to say my favourite country to visit thus far has been Peru, in terms of cultural and natural beauty. Oktoberfest is a pretty great time as well, however the beer tap in my kitchen screams biased assessment.
