Interaction with guests
We live in Seattle. We do have property managers who can respond to any emergencies. We are easy to reach and respond readily.
Other things to note
The community of Arch Cape and State of Oregon charge 10.5% tax that will added to all rentals. The 1% Oregon Room Tax is added to your Airbnb fees. Since AirBnB does not collect the 9.5% Arch Cape local room tax for this locale, direct payment to the owner is necessary. I find it simpler to provide an all-inclusive "special offer" via AirBnB.

My wife Sharon and I have had a love affair with the Oregon Coast all of our lives together. Sharon was born in Astoria and her ancestors were Oregon pioneers who settled in the area prior to statehood. Malarkey's Roost is named for them. The Oregon coast is our legacy and destiny. We spent many vacations coming to Cannon Beach and carried a long time dream of owning a home here. We have a large and still growing family. We celebrate the family love in gatherings at the coast and its myriad activities.
I love the outdoors and keeping active. One of my favorite things is holding court in the kitchen and cooking for a crowd; enjoying sips and bites with my twin brother as a co-chef.
