We had a great time at Lilia's place. The house is very well apportioned and really well located. The local shops were really handy and both recommended bakeries were excellent. Would happily stay here again.

Really great house for a family visiting Avignon. Very quiet and reserved neighborhood at walkable distance from the center. We had lots of fun:)

Our stay at the house was great! The location was supurb; close to the city center in a quiet neighberhood. A pool in such a city house is unique and was -together wichtje airco- very welcome given it was extremely warm

Lovely, spacious house in a good location both for the station and the city centre. Plenty of space to park in the street outside, and the nearby shops are useful. Beautiful garden too, and the pool was welcome on a hot day. We didn't meet Lilia but she made arrangements so that we could get hold of the keys easily, and was flexible with our checkout time too. I'd definitely stay again.

Excellent communication. Great location walking distance to Avignon. Excllent house, though the bedrooms in the basement had bad smell. Probably damp. The three double bedrooms upstairs were excellent. Would be stunning house for six people.

The house in Avignon is beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen was a lovely combo of old and new, the master bathroom was like a spa with a rainhead shower and deep tub, and we appreciated the abundance of charming kids' toys (our daughter fell in love with the petit puppet theater). It took a while for the house to heat up in the winter, but once the heated floors kicked in on the bottom floor it made the house cozy and charming. I imagine in summer that the thick walls would make this house a respite from the heat for sightseers. We also appreciated that the house had new windows and a sweet private garden. The one thing that was a little tough was the neighborhood, which of course can't be helped. Any place right near a train station is generally a challenging neighborhood, but future renters should know that you basically have to walk through an underpass under the train tracks to get into Avignon. We walked to the Carrefour City to get groceries (about a 15 minute walk), so it wasn't a big deal, but the location is something to consider if you're planning to arrive late at night.

Response from Lilia:
Dear Jennifer, I understand that the underpass under the train tracks aren’t an example of tidiness and may seem a bit spooky, but I can assure you that we live in a very calm area of Avignon. The neighborhood, even if it’s culturally mixed, is very friendly. We feel very safe and happy here (even late at night) and even with two children. So yes, we are not far from a train station, but I wouldn’t say we live in a « challenging neighborhood ». Last but not least, on a special edition of Monopoly made out of Avignon Streets, our own street is mentioned and is part of the green combo :-) Best regards, Lilia
