Really cozy apartment located in the characteristic pedestrian area of Navigli, world-famous for its vibrant nightlife and great cultural events and very close to all of Milan's main attractions!
I'll do my best to make you feel really at home!
The flat has been completely renovated and refurnished with great attention to details. It's the flat where I live when in Milan, so it is very confortable and enjoyable because it has not been thought for renting, but for living in.
You will find parquet on the floor and wooden ceiling.
A living room with LCD TV, a sofa and a modern bioethanol fireplace to create the right atmosphere.
A small, but fully equipped kitchen with a glass table for up to four.
A bathroom with a large shower.
And a bedroom with a double bed and a studio corner overseeing the Naviglio Grande, its boats, its flea markets and its countless bars, pubs and restaurants.
It accommodates two people; no room for an extra bed or a cradle, sorry.
The flat is on the first floor of a typical, three-storey building; please note there is no elevator.
You will be provided with fine linens and towels; the dishwasher, WiFi Internet, Air Conditioning / Heating, 41" LCD TV and fireplace are at your disposal.
You'll also find some personal tips and suggestions that will help you - I hope - to make the most out of your visit in Milan.
Please, note that the flat is inside a pedestrian area - a taxi will have no problem to get you there, but a rented car cannot. However, the metro stop of Porta Genova is at less than 5 minutes' walk and, if you like bycicles, you can rent you can rent one provided by the municipal service located a few steps away - it's an experience I strongly suggest to visit the city taking your time.
For those of you coming by car, there's a parking lot next to Porta Genova Station.
Last but not least, the nearby area of Darsena has been recently renovated for the Universal Expo and is rapidly becoming an attraction of itself.
Interaction with guests
I will always try to welcome you personally, but (un)fortunately my job makes me travel a little bit, so, please, forgive me if sometimes I won't be able to. On these occasions a help will come from some friends of mine working at the nearby Bar Banco.
All my contact infos - mail, phone, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) - will be shared with you should any inconvenience unfortunately occur.
Other things to note
As stated in my own profile, I am a "serial traveler" myself, both for business and pleasure.
So I know quite well what someone new to a city needs to feel at home; this is why you'll find all the information you may need in the flat – with time and maybe with your help, the will be translated into as many languages as possible.
I've designed the flat to be my little nest when I'm in Milan; I'm glad to share it with you and I'll do my best to make you feel at home as you were a friend of mine. Please, behave as a friend and take care of the flat so that others will be able to enjoy it after you.
For this reason I'm sorry to say that pets are not allowed - unless you have a very special need.
For the same reason, smoking is not allowed in the flat.
Finally, you will find food and drinks in the flat - I won't take them away with me when you come :) Please help yourself, I would be grateful if you'll leave a note of what is finished.
Have an enjoyable stay
An entrepreneur and serial traveller myself, with a love for food, wine (I'm a sommelier too), XIX and XX century art and sailing.
I'm really new on this site, so you can check my reputation looking for Stefano Ciavatta Trust4Value on the web and follow me at social networks like link-ed-in or pint-er-est.
I travel a lot both for business and for fun; so I think I know what my guests are looking for: a modern, clean and confortable apartment and someone who can help them organize their trip, giving suggestions about the city, its restaurants, bar, shopping areas, events and exhibitions.
The culture of welcome.
