We spent 2 nights and enjoyed exploring this little town. Having a car was good. Just a short drive to Supatar for a side trip. We had a lovely terrace for relaxing and enjoying some local wine. The restaurant across the water was great for lunch and dinner. Simple breakfasts at the market for yummy coffee and sweat breads. Be sure you take your swimming shoes. The shore is very rocky, but the water is marvelous!

We loved our stay in Maja's home in Bobovisce. The house itself is really interesting, full of history and a wonderful experience to be there. It is all as described in the information given, is clean and very well equipped. The view from the patio is beautiful and peaceful - easy to sit there for hours! There are several places close by with beautiful clear water to swim in. Bobovisce is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday away from it all, and a good placed place from which to explore Brac. Maya is the perfect hostess, excellent communication beforehand, ready to answer any questions I had, and a very interesting person to meet!

We have all enjoyed our stay so much! The village is great, the house beautiful and Maya is just great to be met! We really hope to be able to come back one day! It is just a perfect place to spend some days with small children. They can play alone in the whole village and enjoy watching the boats, swim and jingle around.... Definitely one of the best experiences.....

Absolutely incredible location in a barely touched corner of the island. The house is a 400 year old castle and a piece of history, for that reason alone you should visit. To boot, Maja was one of the friendliest and welcoming people we met in croatia. My best airbnb experience so far!

The pictures of the castle present exactly what you can expect. The house and the location really are a hidden little paradise, and the island is beautiful. Maja is a gracious and charming host with a very interesting family history at that. Children will love the little beach at just 100 meters away, very clean water.

I was born in Zagreb but my origins are from the island of Brač. I have been spending my summer holidays there all of my life. I'm a music teacher in retire, and I spend more of the year in Bobovišće. I love the sea, swimming, walking in the nature. I have also decided to rent apartments which are placed in the 18th century family baroque summer-house.
