I love to welcome guests to my family home and let them enjoy the house I have owned for 35 years. There is a colourful garden to explore and wonderful walks up the hill behind the house. Mollie my fox terrier will give you a warm welcome ,she loves people and if you felt like taking her for a walk she would be thrilled.

The amazing views, the history, this is Shakespeare’s Macbeth country. From your bedroom window you look out on Dunsinane Hill. There has been a dwelling here since church records began in the 13th century although there is no evidence of those early constructions now. Scone Palace and Glamis Castle are within easy distance. Three are also several whisky distilleries nearby.

Nearest public transport is a mile away. A car is the best solution.

Other things to note
GPS, SATNAV/Google have difficulty recognising this house. They all take you to my neighbours 1 mile further on.The approach has a blue sign and wooden fence. It is 1.1 miles from the A94. If you pass a field of caravans you have missed the farm road by 50m. The house is 400m up the farm road in the trees.

If you have google maps please type in address exactly as listed below. There is a pin dropped on this house.

I am an entrepreneur by nature and love the history of the area. This has been my family home for more than 30 years so very happy to help with lots of info about Perthshire and Scotland. This house has had a long history with parts of it dating back to 1780. Molly my little fox terrier( very friendly and if invited would move into your room ) looks forward to meeting you too. I have had many bed & breakfast guests over the years and look forward to welcoming you here to Montague. The view from the house across the valley to Schiehallion 42 miles away is wonderful on a clear day. You are welcome to wander around my garden and farm buildings and there are lovely walks from the house direct onto the hill. GPS (56.4407 x -3.3270 ) and SATNAV / (Hidden by Airbnb) do not always recognise this address please use my (Website hidden by Airbnb) page for directions to find this house. Take A94 out of Perth through Scone take 2nd right off the A94 signed Rait. On the Rait road 1.1 miles on left look for the blue sign Montague Farm Private and wooden fence, look for 20mph circular signs either side of farm road. House is in the trees up the track 400m. If you pass a field of caravans you have gone 50m too far. A car is essential as there is no public transport near here. Please arrive after 5 pm unless you have made a previous arrangement with me.GPS 56.4407 x -3.3270
