Beautiful master bedroom with queen bed and private bath. Enjoy the many common spaces, inside and out. There is central a/c for the warm summer months and a cozy fireplace in the winter. ***The space is best suited for females only***
The house includes many historic touches that you would expect in a 1920s Portland bungalow, but has been nicely updated. The guest bedroom/private bath are on the main floor while my bedroom and another bath are upstairs, ensuring good separation. There is a comfortable queen bed with side tables, large dresser, and closet. The bathroom has a tub with shower.
The living room is a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring and the kitchen is perfect for cooking and socializing. The backyard is a beautiful oasis and there is an inviting front porch swing as well. Curl up by the fire in the comfy living room in the winter.
A friendly cat named Natasha lives at the house in case of any allergies.
If I'm not home when you arrive I can leave a key in a lock box for easy access.
Other things to note
I have a friendly, playful cat living at the house.
No smoking, pets or parties. This is a family neighborhood-and I work full time-so please be considerate. No additional overnight guests that aren't indicated in the reservation.
I should be around during your stay to answer your questions. I sometimes work from home during the week for the local wine industry and am happy to share what I know about touring wine country, in addition to providing tips on local bars, restaurants, boutiques, etc.
Wish airbnb had existed back in the day when I had more time to travel! Staying in someone's home is a much better way to authentically experience a city and meet interesting people. My favorite things to do when traveling are to walk around, take in the sites and people, and enjoy the local cuisine and culture. I've lived in Berlin, London, Brussels, Washington DC, Baltimore, and now call Portland home. I love spending time in Europe, on the East Coast visiting friends, exploring my backyard in the Pacific NW, and am hoping to visit SE Asia soon. I recently returned from a trip to Turkey and Italy. I rent my house on Airbnb while I'm traveling and enjoy using Airbnb whenever I can. I work for the Oregon wine industry and am a food and wine aficionado.
