The cottage is nice and we had a lovely stay. However, the cottage -especially the equipment in the kitchen- is not as clean as expected. We had very good weather and were able to stay outside a lot, we enjoyed the barbecue and the terrace... Unfortunately, there was no welcome cake, when we arrived ;-)!

The stay at Jeanne' s house was really nice. It has the perfect location, 2 minutes from the ferry, 45 minutes walk to gällnö and a restaurant, we had a own beach / jetty. Jeanne's mother Margaretha was really helpful und friendly. The house was nice prepared and we had everything we needed.

The host of this property was sweet, nice and understanding from the little communication we had, she tried to make us feel at home, as much as possible. Very nice indeed! The island itself is extremely beautiful, HOWEVER, the description of the property is little inaccurate - our biggest problem was a BIO-TOILET with no water flushing system, it was VERY uncomfortable to use and UNHYGIENIC for sure. This itself is enough of reason for us to NOT To choose the property, had we known before. This is NOT MENTIONED in the listing description. Also, the pictures of the listing is little ambiguous because there are plenty of houses around to jeopardize your "private" experience.

An incredible place to experience archipelago living. The basic, but cosy cottage has everything you need for a summer stay. Although the main house is nearby, the cottage is very private, with a little terrace space, and a big rock plateau with it's own table and chairs. In front, the garden leads down to pine trees and the water. The island is pristine, like living in a huge nature reserve. Jeanne and her mother were the perfect hosts. A very special place.

It was actually Jeanne's mother-in-law, Margareta, that took care of us. She was terrific! Greeted us at the boat & made us feel welcome. The place was clean & neat, if perhaps a touch pricey. Margareta took care of any questions or concerns immediately. We would definitely return. Thank you Margareta!

We (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed a week in the cottage of Jeanne. We were welcomed by her mother Margaretha at the jetty, who was the hostess during our stay. She's a very nice person and the really best hostess you can imagine. She lives next door and was very helpful. The cottage itself was basic, especially the shower and toilet outside, but it had everything you needed, even a toaster so ... It could use a new coat of paint though. Our kids had a very nice time in their bunk bed. During our stay the weather was unstable so we had rain, sunshine and everything in between. But most of the time we could take breakfast and diner outside on the rocks by the cottage. A sunny and unique place to eat. Because of the weather, a whole week was a bit too long for us, the water was to cold to swim in and our son was too young to climb or walk on the rocks along the water. But if you're looking for a place in a green environment with lots of quite places on the waterfront, this is it. It is also very easy to take a boat and visit other islands on the archipelago, what we did a few times. grz Steph&Tim

Had a wonderful time at Gällnönäs. The cottage is really basic and maybe a little bit expensive but the surroundings are absolutely peaceful. Very easy to communicate with both Jeanne and her nice mother. Highly recommended.
