Stan's apartment is fantastic. Great location across from Ft Greene Park. 10 min walk to subway, plenty of restaurants around, vibrant, fun neighborhood. The apartment itself is stunning- better than the listing photos- and huge for NY. Lovely balcony and garden. Bedroom is very quiet. We had our kids on the foldout sofa upstairs. Really ideal for a family. It was so nice to come home after a day of walking/running around and be so comfortable and have so much space. Perks I appreciated: well- appointed kitchen, air conditioning, washer/dryer, huge TV so kids could watch a movie our last, wiped-out night. Communication with Stan was great. We absolutely hope to stay here again.

This is a beautiful apartment. It is comfortable, stylish and has everything we needed. It's close to a variety of great restaurants and the park opposite is lovely. We were thrilled with this find. Thanks Stan!

Staying at Stan's place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn was amazing! His attention to detail in preparation for our arrival was most appreciated. The place is spacious, comfortable, warm, full of fascinating art and cool furniture. The back garden is a beautiful bonus too. Lovely big kitchen, lovely big tvs, and lovely high ceilings were great! Location is a cool, historic neighbourhood with great cafes and places to eat, with varieties of calm, quiet, village-like areas, and more bustling shopping mall areas too. Very conveniently located near a variety of subways and buses heading in all directions, and the beautiful Fort Greene park is right across the road. Truly felt like home away from home.

Selecting this 2 level apartment in Brooklyn will get you the most persistant and gushing praise from your fellow travellors! It did for me. The photos do indeed "not do it justice". It is more spacious and the charisma of the details depicted carries over all around the apartment. The whole apartment is quiet -especially the rear garden-facing lower level main bedroom with it's own bathroom. (ok the beautiful wood floors creak a bit). There's also a great view of that garden from the upper level den -next to the kitchen. Say hello to the quiet chickens in the garden backing on. The view from the front main dining / living room lets you see the frequent neighbors walking in Fort Green Park while you eat. The spaces are very versatile and kids can nap on couches whilst others check on laptops etc. (good internet). Nice warm and dust free central heating. The Park is a great, historic and safe amenity day and night. And as such a convenient way to short cut through to subways. Walk all along Myrtle besides it for central Bklyn or carry on to Bklyn Heights and Pier 6 view of Manhatten. Check out the Farmers market there on Saturday further down your street, and try the blackened bread for a change. Stan's guide pages of how to shop and eat the thriving local streets are very helpfull. To which I would add LuLu & Po for Tapas just around the corner on Carlton. Spendy perhaps but exquisit; good for veggies -or try the octopus!

What a beautiful place and a great neighbourhood. It had so much personality and was lovely to stay in a very unique place that isn't just a Airbnb "airspace" copy. Our only slight hick up was our arrival as we couldn't figure out the lockbox for the key - a bit like the monkeys and the computer scene in Zoolander... A few panicked messages that Stan calmly answered and we were in. All I could've asked for was for nicer weather so we could enjoy the beautiful garden!

The home was better than the pictures show. Easy to get around the areas in Brooklyn we wanted to visit and a feeling of safety. The Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings is literally down the street. The bedroom was very quiet and both bathrooms are very large by NYC standards. The communication before and upon arrival was the best I have experienced with AirBnB. The garden is an oasis. We hope to come back this spring.
