Interaction with guests
Our family loves guests and has been hosting students from around the world for years. We live on the property and look forward to meeting you and helping to make your trip to San Diego the best ever!
Other things to note
***The San Diego Airport is close by and we are on the flight path. The airport has a curfew meaning the last plane to land is at 11:30 pm and the first airplane to take off is 6:30 am. We provide earplugs and a white noise clock radio for those of you who are sensitive to the airplanes. Other than that it is a quiet residential area with the occasional dog barking.
JUST A FEW FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY AND COMFORT:
A Release & Waiver Of Liability And Indemnity Agreement must be signed to enter premises and property for vacation rental or any other purpose.
Check In Time: After 3:00 pm
Check Out Time: 11 am
Please contact me if you need other arrangements and I will do my best to accommodate your requests.
PLEASE keep all gate entrances to the studio closed and locked. We have a dog on the property.
No loud noise! As much as we love bass thumping dub step, we prefer that you leave it at the clubs. We ask that you refrain from playing loud music, talking loudly or anything else that would disturb us or our neighbors especially after 10:00 at night or before 8:00 in the morning.
No smoking on any part of the property at any time. None, zero, zip. No tobacco, no pot, no cloves, no dried banana peels.
No candles inside or outside the house.
There is NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL so please use the trash cans to dispose of food; there is a container for grease under the sink, or personal items. Same goes for the toilet. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down it.
You are responsible for doing all dishes and putting them back where you found them.
Please empty the trash before you check-out in the plastic bags provided under the kitchen sink. Place trash bags in the large black bin by the gate and recyclables in the blue bin.
Make sure you turn the coffee pot off when you have finished using it and or leave the studio.
Please do your part to conserve water because California is in a drought emergency.
Please turn off the heater/air conditioner if you leave for the day. Electricity is very expensive in San Diego and this will help keep our costs down and rates affordable for our guests.
The studio is approximately 350 sq. ft. and can only accommodate four guests.
Our garage is off limits.
You must have a stay of at least a week or longer to use the washer and dryer.
Children 5 years old and under are not allowed to use the spa/hot tub even, with adult supervision.

Fireplace is available for your use and all fire safety rules must be observed. Please provide your own firewood and fire starter. Only use wood to burn (not treated or painted). Fireplace should never be left unattended and must be completely extinguished after use. Never put hot embers, or wood in trash.
