Centrally located self-contained suite on the ground floor of our family home. The place is just a short walk to the supermarket, shops and town. It is ideal for couples with its own private access. Tea and coffee facilities are provided along with a variety of cereals and some milk for breakfast. The kitchen is equipped for cooking your own meals if desired. Standard wifi provided for your convenience. Great for dog lovers - very friendly labrador lives at the property.

The space
Our Airbnb provides for all your basic needs for a comfortable stay. We offer contactless check in/out and will give you your privacy. However, if you need anything we are more than happy to help - so please ask if you need something! We do not charge any service fees (this is different from Airbnbs service fees) but do charge a one-off cleaning fee to set the suite up for your stay.

There is the potential for noise as we live in the house upstairs. We do our best to keep the noise to a minimum. Also, the dog is kept in a well fenced yard seperate to the Airbnb for those who might be nervous around dogs. We also offer a parking spot for you on the property.

Our place is the perfect base for all your adventure tourism needs. We have access to Lake Taupo in the summer for boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Turangi is perfectly placed to go trout fishing or river rafting on the Tongariro River. There are a wide variety of hikes and mountain bike trails nearby. The Tongariro Alpine Crossing being one of the most popular hikes. In winter, we are just a 40 minute drive to the ski slopes for all your skiing and snowboarding needs.
