My partner Joel and I stayed at Paul's house for a week to attend a business conference at the Convention Center. Both Paul and his partner Daniel are lovely and interesting people, great to talk to - we really enjoyed getting to know them. Paul made us lovely homemade breakfasts (muffins, his own honey, homemade yogurt, steelcut oats, coffee) every morning before we headed out, and both he and Daniel had great recommendations for local restaurants. If we're ever in Providence again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay with Paul again.

Paul is a fantastic host: attentive, courteous, and respectful. He was very willing to help navigate Providence, be it for local suggestions on food/drink/entertainment or travel tips (busses, trains and the like). He was never hard to get in touch with, be it in person or via text - nice when you are traveling away from home. He was respectful of space and privacy, while also making you feel safe while away from home. The "Green Room" was perfect for a single traveler, with comfortable room and bed. There are enough outlets for an individual (I am pretty wired, too). While the bathroom is shared, Paul was very respectful of guests and schedules. The location was perfect for me: close enough to downtown (downcity) for a long walk or a short cab/uber/lyft and easy access to the bus (important for me since I was not traveling with a car). I would say the same for access to Brown/RISD, though those are not easy walks from his place. Overall, I was very happy that I had a good place to stay, with a nice host, close to where I needed to be, much cheaper than nearby hotels, and in a neighborhood with easy access to travel and local spots.

We stayed in a comfortable room with a double bed with a bathroom conveniently located right next door. Paul went out of his way to make us feel at home, and we had a nice mix of private time as well as time spent getting to know each other a bit better. In fact, it was a lot of fun to find out how much we had a lot in common. Paul was very knowledgeable about the area, and offered suggestions on where to park (we were there on a very busy weekend so this was great help). In the morning Paul served delicious home made Gluten-Free muffins, fruit and licorice tea. We highly recommend staying with Paul!

The Green Room was cozy and as advertised. It was all we needed for our stay. We used it as a home-base as we explored Federal Hill and then went farther afield. The shared bath was never an issue. Paul was happy to offer suggestions, but gave us plenty of privacy after long days out on the town. The coffee and fresh baked goods were much appreciated, and it was great to have such a pleasant home to return to every evening. We'd stay again if we ever decided to return for another visit to Providence. It was great to have a neighborhood for our 5 days in town.

We loved our stay & Paul is the coolest! Super clean and quirky place. The bed was more comfortable than my own. Lots of plants and good vibes. He makes good breakfast, too!!

This was the first time we have used Airbnb, and we were not disappointed. Paul was a great host, even though we were at the house more than him. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room enjoying listenening to music on a record player! The house is very centrally located, within walking distance to anything you could need. Great restaurants very close by. We were there for a concert at the Dunkin Donuts Center, and it was a very safe walk home late at night. Coffee and muffins were provided and enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this location.

Paul was a fantastic host. He keeps a gorgeous, welcoming home that invites you to feel like you're arriving to your own household. He was very accommodating, made sure I was well taken care of, and was quick to offer tips and suggestions of things to do around town. The comments about the morning food spread were no joke. Paul made muffins, croissants, had a selection of tea or coffee, and even offered honey he collected from the beehive in his backyard, which was delicious. The room itself was cozy, inviting and a great place to retreat to once it was time to go to sleep. I can't say enough good things about my stay here. Highly recommended.
