Alessandro is the perfect host! He is communicative, relaxed, welcoming and understanding. We felt very comfortable asking him for help/tips and he made sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, interesting and well equipped. The bedroom we stayed in had a lockable door and plenty of space - we could easily have moved in a stayed there for weeks! Thank you for your hospitality Alessandro. And give our love and farewells to Igor (the charming black cat who can be seen around the house)!

Alessandro is a lovely host, and his amazing house is a fantastic space to stay in for a unique experience in Florence. We were provided with towels and our own space in the kitchen and bathroom and had no problems with anything, plus the room itself is beautiful, with high ceilings and the building is cool at the height of summer. The neighbourhood is chilled out and an easy walk from the train station, plus it has the best gelato place in town 10 mins walk away. Alessandro gave us heaps of information for what to see in Florence and was around if we needed anything. I'd definitely recommend staying with him.

Alessandro was very easy to communicate with and made it easy to meet with him for arrival. There was a great parking space for our car and the room was huge! The bed was the most comfortable we have had from airbnb so far. The location was perfect for us, we caught the bus the short distance into the city each day. We were free to use the kitchen which was very helpful as well. Would recommend!

We had a very comfortable stay and we felt welcome, about a 20 minute bus trip from the centre.

Staying at Alessandro's place will make your trip do Florence better! He's really kind and hospitable. At his home you will be provide with everything: towels, slippers, earplugs, tea or coffee and more important - lot of tips, maps and wonderful stories about Florence. Location is about 2,5 km from centre, but next to guest house is a bus stop and you can get to all atractions in 15 minutes. I recommend Alessandro with all my heart!

Alessandro has a beautiful house. It is located just 10 mins away from anywhere you need to go. So, it's close enough and yet quiet and away from the buzz of tourists. The house and the neighbourhood is wonderful and is well connected by bus. The only problem is that there is only one bathroom and toilet, so it gets a bit rushed when there are other guests.... But that 's a minor issue in a place as lovely as this. And, Alessandro is a wonderful and we'll informed host. I d love to go back and stay for longer... We stayed for 3 nights this time.

Very much enjoyed staying here. Would give a six if I could. Alessandro and his partner were kind, attentive and helpful. He recommended places to eat. Taught us about the city and provided maps. Very. Helpful.
