This is a modern, spacious three bedroom apartment housed within a traditional Georgian tenement in the historical Garnethill area. This quiet oasis is minutes from the vibrancy of the city centre and in close proximity to the bohemian west end.

The space

This welcoming apartment has been recently modernised to include two double bedrooms and one impressive master bedroom which overlooks the tranquil back garden of the property. This stylish bedroom also houses it's own shower cubicle for extra privacy. The two double bedrooms have double wardrobes and both can easily accommodate two people per room. One is situated next to the master bedroom at the back of the property and one overlooks small front garden area situated next to a quiet road.

The bright, spacious living room includes well preserved original features, with traditional hardwood flooring, fireplace and cornicing being particular standouts. The area includes a comfortable double sofa and leather reclining armchair.

The ample kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances and includes an impressive glass dining table which can sit up to six people comfortably. There is a compact laundry area adjoining the kitchen which includes a washer/dryer and a traditional Scottish pulley for drying clothes.

The main bathroom is modern and compact with a luxuriously deep bath and mirrored wall.

The compact WC is situated next to the spacious entrance hallway of the apartment.

The petite front garden is exclusive to the property and is famed for its apple tree which bears its own delicious fruit!

Guest access

The apartment is situated on the ground floor of the building . The apartment is alarmed within a secure building with a door entry system.

Guests will have unlimited access to a fully equipped apartment including; Kitchen (dishwasher, gas oven and hob, microwave, freezer, refrigerator, washing machine/dryer), Gas central-heating, iron and ironing board, towels and bedding.

Interaction with guests

We want you to have a memorable stay and will be available to meet and greet guests and respond quickly to any queries. We will supply a list of recommendations and hidden gems and are only a phone call away for additional queries.

Other things to note

Ideally we would like to let for a minimum of three nights but we are flexible so feel free to ask!

The area is situated up a hill with access from Sauchiehall Street which is quite steep.

James, our host, was just perfect! We were five italian people: me, my husband and three children. When we arrived the welcome was excellent, unusual, we really felt like at home, we found a little bit of everything in every corner of the flat, expecially in the kitchen but not only (also a selections of great Dvds was ready for us!). The big elegant and clean flat (three big double room, big kitchen and living room) was really comfortable (bathroom with bidet!), full furnished, with wifi and a lot of unusual amenities for a holiday flat, my children also enjoyed the back garden and we became friends of a neighbor upstairs. The place is in the center on a beautiful hill, near shops, places to visit and public transportation; the wonderful Kelvingrove Park with its great Museum is just few minutes walking. We had a great time (almost a month) in Glasgow and the perfect Jim is just an example of the friendly and helpful scottish people. Thank you.

James was an excellent host; he met us at the bus terminal, showed us around the flat and was available every day if we needed him. The frig was stocked with staples and some special extra items to help make our stay comfortable. My husband especially enjoyed the scotch that James stocked the bar with! James went out of his way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable by providing pamphlets about the city, bus, train and subway schedules and an extensive list of restaurants, pubs, cafes, shopping, etc., and he even purchased a new TV for the flat along with various DVD's for us to view. We had a wonderful time in the city, experiencing the warmth, charm and friendliness of the Glaswegians!

It is a fabulous flat. Huge rooms well furnished and absolutely superb location. The owner couldn't do enough for us and he was extremely helpful and flexible with meeting us on arrival to show us around the flat. Being a ground floor flat was ideal for our family and made for a superb stay close to the centre of Glasgow. I would definitely use again and highly recommend this as a place to stay.
