House Rules
Check in is anytime after 1PM

1.THE TERRACE: Please be very careful when using the terrace. You will notice glass that is needed so the downstairs offices get sunlight. You are welcome to use the terrace as much as possible, until 10pm when we must be quiet. Again: be very careful around the glass. It is sharp, and will crack easily if you step on it. We don’t want anyone to get hurt!

2.The Light in the Bathroom – Unfortunately we can not find a replacement bulb for the main light. (Communism). The light can be found above the sink, on the top of the mirror (there’s a little button)

3.The Washing Machine – Please use the 30 minute setting to save energy, it works perfectly. Turn the main knob to the right (There is an arrow pointing to the setting)

4.The MAIN DOOR – If it’s locked when you open it, you must lock it. We are in the center of Prague, and there are thieves around. There is also a business downstairs, so please respect that and LOCK THE DOOR. Also, lock the GATE whenever you come or go

5.There are light switches for the hallway. Outside the front door of the flat and to the left, and then near the main door on the left, as you are walking out (Right if you are walking in). Get a handle on these during the day, so you can spot them in the evening.

6.KEYS – Only one set of keys will be given out.. For security reasons.

7.The Toilet: The water in the toilet has a tendency to run once in a while. If this happens, please “Jingle” the metal bit on top and the water will stop.

8.The Heating: There are only 2 settings we use on the heating. “Off”, and “21”. (It’s near the bed) If you are cold, you can switch the heating on to 21 and the heating will come on if the apartment is cooler than 21 degrees.

9.WIFI USERNAME: VIKING --- WiFI Password: viking24viking24

10.Living directly in the center of Prague has it’s advantage, and one small disadvantage. It’s loud at night. Although we are quite protected here in the courtyard, the street of Dlouha can be quite loud at night. (If you leave the window open) One simple solution is earplugs, which can be purchased at the pharmacy across the street.

11.Again - LOCK FRONT DOOR ALWAYS and the GATE after 10pm!!! NEVER LEAVE IT OPEN

5 stars all around :) Beautiful apartment in perfect location. There are nice restaurants and nice bars all around. Plus hosts are awesome. I had to make a change to my reservation and they were super understanding. When you check-in, you're greeted with a tour of the place and all types of suggestions for food, sightseeing, going out for drinks, etc. I absolutely recomend this place.

Teri & Emma's flat is very central, just a stone's throw from delicious breakfast and dinner spots, nightlife, and the city center. It can be loud at night with the windows open, but with the fan on and the windows closed, we didn't hear a peep. Teri & Emma have the famously European bath-shower: no curtain and no overhead showered; it's handheld, so be prepared to do some hygiene gymnastics (that's not a complaint, just an observation). Their washer came in handy, and the drying rack is outside by the table and chairs. This flat is a great deal in a very affordable capital city. Enjoy your stay here!

This commentary is initially written in Basque, and below is the English translation. Praga hiri zoragarria da, merezi du bere barnean oinez sartu eta kale izkina guztietatik galtzeak. Horrela, egoitza zentrikoa bada, abiapuntu gisan, aukera ugari zabaltzen dira. Apartamentua, argazkietan ikusten den bezalakoxea da, guztiz horniturik dago, eta bere kokapena paregabekoa da, hortaz, Praga egun gutxi batzutan ezagutu ahal izateko hobetuezineko etxea da. Era berean, Teryk, zenbaitetan mezuak igorri zizkigun, bere laguntza eskaintzen behar genuen edozertarako. Horrela taxia kontratatu ziguten etxera eta aireportura joan ahal izateko, eta horrek lasaitasuna eman zigun. Eskerrik asko, Tery eta Emma. Prague is a fantastic city, and it´s perfect to walk and getting lost for. A central apartment is the best to use it as a starting point. The apartment is as described in the pictures, is perfectly equipped, and its location is perfect, therefore it is the ideal stay to enjoy a few days in Prague. Tery also sometimes offered to help us with any question. So she hired the taxi to go to the apartment and to return to the airport, and it gave us tranquility. Many thanks Tery and Emma

The flat is great. I was in town for a week for work. It was comfortable, in a great location, and the hosts were responsive to my questions. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be centrally located. I'd stay here again.

This is a great location - very close to the old town square and convenient for all the sights - yet still quiet at night and not too busy by day. Teri met us on time and gave us good advice on transport and eating out. We tried three of her recommended cafe/restaurants and they were all excellent. The apartment was clean. Good bath with plenty of hot water and a hand-held shower head. The facilities and furnishings are rudimentary but adequate (think student flat). A toaster and microwave would be useful additions. It's a pity Teri & Emma can't buy a new bulb for the communist bathroom light, but then communism is over and it's probably time to invest in a new fitting. By the way, capitalist countries also have old equipment for which you can't get new parts - capitalism invented planned obsolescence.
