Ideally located, my trendy artist studio is perfect to "hop in" a parisian lifestyle. First floor, with a beautiful view over the garden, its space allows to relax. The bathroom with bath, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed.. La vie en rose!

The space

The studio is in a 1920’s built-in building dedicated to artists during the period of Ecole de Paris located in Montparnasse: there is only artists studios in it. Friendly and quiet neighbours, a very charming and typical parisian atmosphere. The studio is at the first floor, overlooking the garden.
It's a one bedroom of 40m2: french designers furnitures, bedroom upstairs, fully equiped kitchenette with one classic oven plus a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing and drying machine for your clothes, and a cosy bathroom with a bath. Wifi connection and TV with HDMI are included.
It has a reinforced door, and from outside the building, a digicode and an intercom to let your friends in. Drop your suitcase and be zen!
I like the apartment to be perfectly clean when you arrive.

Guest access

From Charles-de-Gaulle airport, take the RER B, ( 9,75 € and 35 mn) to Denfert Rochereau station where you change, take the line 4 ( direction Porte de Clignancourt-Montrouge) and 3 stations forward, hop off at Alesia. From Orly airport, take the Orly-bus to Denfert Rochereau stop ( 20mn). Then take metro line 4 to Alesia station: the studio is at 2 mn by feet. The metro line 4 goes to Notre Dame de Paris -station Saint-Michel (10mn), Saint-Germain des Pres (8mn) and the Sacré Coeur in Montmartre, station Barbes Rochechouart (20 mn).
From the studio, you can also walk to Saint-Germain-des-Prés by the Rue de la Gaieté, a mythic neighborhood known for its little cafés and burlesque cabarets. In the streets around your home are some of the citie’s best restaurants (see our list of adresses in our Guide). The Gare Montparnasse is at 10 mn walk to escape by train to the Wineyards of Bordeaux, the Châteaux de la Loire or the Château of Versailles (25 mn ride, 1 train every 20 mn).
In termes of accessibility and transports, the place is ideally located.
There is also a VELIB station avenue jean Moulin, to rent a citybike with your credit card.

A lovely spot in the 14th arrondissement. Well located--very close metro line 4, with metro line 13th nearby, too. In a nice neighborhood, conveniently located to shops, restaurants, anything you'd need. I stayed for a longer term stay--about a month--and the apartment worked great for me. I loved the courtyard!

From my wife, who spent the whole month there: I spent a wonderful month in Francoise's lovely apartment. It is ideally situated, in a quiet neighborhood but close to metro line 4 which crosses most if not all the other lines, making it easy to get everywhere. There's a supermarket 2 minutes away for everything that you need, as well as bakeries, restaurants and cafés, all close by. I followed her suggestions for places to eat and ended up dining at Les Petit Plats three times with three different people, all of them loved it. I recommend calling to reserve a place though as it is often fully booked in the evenings. All in all I had a great time and would recommend Francoise's apartment, whether you're staying for a short or long time, as it has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay. Francoise was a great host. Thank you so much!

We stayed in the apartment for four months, while I was studying. It is a perfect space for a couple and is really well-equipped: washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, oven and all the cooking utensils you would need. It would work for a shorter stay, but has everything you would need for a longer one. The neighbourhood is great. The apartment is a few minute walk from the metro station and line 4 is really convenient for visiting the city. Everything you need - bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and a cinema - is in walking distance. While the apartment is conveniently located, the area is relaxed and quiet. Because of looking onto the courtyard, when you're in the apartment, you wouldn't know you're in the middle of a busy city. Françoise was a great host - responsive, friendly and helped quickly when necessary. It was really nice getting to know her. Thanks Françoise for a great stay! Best wishes, Becky and Michael

Response from Françoise:
DEAR Becky and Michael, It was really nice having you. Time run so fast! It seems you arrived yesterday! I thank you for your nice comment. The most important thing for me was to do so that you have all the convenience you need to feel like home. Only the good of a home, of course! I wish you good luck with your studies and a beautiful life. Best wishes, Françoise

Françoise's cosy place is in a quiet side street in a lively neighbourhood about 15 mins drive from main attractions. We loved her artistic touches and the view onto the beautiful courtyard. There were a couple of cleanliness issues which I recommend confirming are sorted before booking. The shower situation is definitely awkward but ok for a few days.
