In 2008 my mother, a widow, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My brother, sister and I have set up Mortimer House to help fund our mother's ongoing care costs, enabling her to stay in her own home also in Crickhowell for as long as is physically possible. My husband, daughter (in the picture curling her grandma's hair) and I live just 4 miles away so that we can make sure mum gets the best care possible.
I also help my brother out by organising the rental of his villa in Seminyak, Bali. We all go there together for family holidays as we are spread around the world and it is the perfect place for us all to catch up, with the wonderful Made and her team looking after us. Heaven.
