The space
The top two comments we receive from our satisfied guests are:

#1. We have the best, most convenient location in the Twin Cities. Quiet country/park like neighborhood right in the middle of the metro area.

#2. Special attention to details, cleanliness, and amenities. 100% of our guest rate us as providing outstanding hospitality.

We love to share our unique light-filled home with others. It was designed by my husband, architect Kevin Busch. Our home is called Theatre of the Seasons and this is our “Pine Haven” guest room. A large bank of windows has a view to our backyard white pine retreat complete with hammock.

This room has just been completely redone - new paint, bed, mattress, linens etc. Custom closet has space to hang clothes plus multiple shelving and drawers to hold your personal items. A special feature I’ve not seen on other Airbnb sites is this an ADJUSTABLE FRAME BED and you may raise or lower the top half of the mattress that responds to your body’s natural movements. This is perfect if you want to read a book or watch shows on your laptop in bed as it lifts your head to the perfect angle you adjust it to.

Your private bedroom is on the upper level and includes a queen bed with a new firm to medium mattress. There is an OVER-SIZED TWO ROOM BATH WITH TUB plus a half bath powder room on main level that are reserved for guest only use. Enjoy the airy game/conversation area upstairs in the main loft open space plus a huge living room complete with Roku HDTV with premium cable, microwave and mini refrigerator. The entire upper level (except other 2 guest rooms) is your home during your stay. HOSTS DO NOT SHARE ANY GUEST SPACES - we live on the main floor. Once greeted, you come and go from the house as you please.

Take advantage of our lightening fast high speed WiFi, Electric hot water kettle at the tea, hot cocoa and cookie station, large selection of games and puzzles.

Where you’ll be

Falcon Heights, Minnesota, United States

Falcon Heights is the most highly desirable neighborhood in the Twin Cities. It’s 10 minutes to either downtown and the best bus routes are right at the end of our street.

We have a lovely home on a half acre property. We are at the end of a cul-de-sac providing privacy, limited traffic and intimate neighborhood relationships. Mature trees, walking paths and parks abound.

Lots of farmlands nearby makes it feel like living in the country, but we are very convenient to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Feel free to stroll in the community gardens immediately north of our property.

We are located across the street from St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. We are also an easy walk to the Minnesota State Fair and Bell Museum of Natural History. The free Como Park zoo, conservatory and picnic/play grounds are just a couple of miles away and is the largest regional park in the area.

I am a early 60's feel like 40's mom of 3 adult sons who live away. I enjoy gardening, creating original recipes, reading and community activism. Our home is located right between Minneapolis and St. Paul. 10 minutes to either downtown but we live in what feels like the countryside. We are surrounded on three sides by U of MN agricultural fields and our large and unique home is at the end of a dead end cul-de-sac. North of our home is private and community garden farmlands. We have a large, lovable Golden Retriever 6 year-old Brooks. Friendly neighbors of all ages. Kevin is an architect who designed our home, an avid cyclist and enjoys all types of sports. He owns his own firm and works in downtown Minneapolis. We are a big baseball family. All of my sons and Kevin played NCAA Division 1 baseball. I enjoy travel and have been to every US state except Hawaii and been fortunate to visit dozens of other countries. I enjoy reading historical fiction and mysteries and tending my flower, herb and vegetable gardens. If you visit us at harvest time we grow tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, black raspberries, cherries and Honey Crisp apples that we love to share with our guests.
