Our one bedroom apartment (the bottom floor of our house) is your serene place to rest and relax. Just 2 miles south of the University, our place feels like a vacation home in the woods. Blocks away from the running trail system and a bus stop. No extra cleaning fees!
The bottom floor of our home is a one bedroom apartment in a wooded park-like setting with its own driveway, gate, and entrance.
You'll have complete access to a kitchenette (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, sink), full bathroom with a tub, flat screen TV with cable, wifi, outdoor bistro table, double-wide hammock in the warmer months, and a very comfortable couch! The bedroom has one queen size bed. The couch could sleep one additional person. There is room for a blow up bed.
Enjoy our park-like yard with native trees and plants and walking paths. Laundry room is available by pre-arranged request. Full disclosure that we have two boys, aged 3 and 4 living upstairs. When they run, you'll hear their feet thumping, and that may or may not be in the mornings. There's no way to slow them down:)
Interaction with guests
While the apartment is completely private, we live upstairs should you need anything or have questions about the area! We love to chat, but we'll leave you alone, too.
Other things to note
Pack-n-play is available for small children should you need it.
We have a dog who lives with us in the main home upstairs. He may bark from time to time. While the apartment is pretty soundproofed, full disclosure that it is very likely that you will hear our boys' footsteps, aged 3 and 4, running in the house over head. While we try to keep it to a minimum, there is no way to stop small boys from clomping their feet. :)
No smoking (inside or out), drugs, or parties, please. Sorry, no pets at this time.

I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to the great state of Oregon in 2006. I met my husband, Scott (from Hillsboro, OR) here in 2008 and we haven't looked back. I work as an online high school teacher and a writer and he is a realtor/IT professional with the University of Oregon/raft guide. We love spending time with our two young boys and our big mutt, Barrett. We love traveling, meeting new people, house projects, gardening, outdoor pursuits, reading, photography, and learning Spanish. As soon as our boys get old enough we can't wait to travel the country and the rest of the world as a family. We can't wait to host you in Eugene.
