Ideally located just steps away from Courtenay's 5th Street and other downtown attractions, this sweet little home offers 2 queen sized beds, 2 full bathrooms and a nice big fenced yard if you're bringing your dog along. Everything's close!

The space

Our home was built in the 50s - so has some of that charm. The kitchen is original - and while we do have plans to renovate in the future, for now, know that you're going back in time a bit! We like to be clear that our house has some quirks (and most guests are perfectly understanding!)

Interaction with guests

Our family is currently residing in Whistler so while we are available by phone/email during your stay, we won't be there in person to greet you and say goodbye. We rely on our caretaker and cleaners to keep us abreast!

Good place to stay close to downtown Courtenay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lovely place, well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Easy to get in touch with Tracy. If you're looking for a nice clean and quiet place in Courtenay, this is your place.

On the whole it is a great location for downtown but the yard could use some work and the kitchen is outdated but comfortably useable.

Place was great, everything we needed. And Tracy was very nice and available even though living elsewhere. I'm sure we'll be back!

Tracey was great with communication, much appreciated all your very prompt replies. The neighbourhood was quiet and the back yard was peaceful on a summer's evening.

Tracy's home was comfortable and perfect for our stay at a family reunion in Courtenay. My husband and I had the downstairs bedroom for four nights and my sister and her husband had the upstairs bedroom for two of those nights. Each floor had its own bath with everything supplied. The kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us to prepare our potluck dishes. There's a bakery within walking distance where we got our morning coffee and pastry every day. A grocery store is a few blocks away. The back yard is fully fenced with a covered deck that has a table and chairs and a grill. This is an older home with some updates and it's very homey. Most importantly of all, it was CLEAN!!

Tracy's house is very comfortable, private, and roomy ... easily big enough for four ... and Tracy is an attentive host. There was a lovely cross draft keeping things airy and cool in very warm weather. The location was great - easy access to downtown and highways out of town and a very quick drive to the festival grounds. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks Tracy.

I'm an executive coach, leadership development professional - making a move back to Whistler. We still love our house on the island (where family lives+ and our kale grows) and wanting to keep it and share it with others while we discover where to settle!
