great experience in the casa encantada. A bit cold because the windows let the wind through. Fransisco is very nice and attentionnate.

Very nice place in the center of El Paso, the gateway to the national park. The house is on a quiet side street, so no noise whatsoever, but still central enough to get quickly to the market, the cafes, etc. The host, Francisco, is a very nice person, indeed, answering all the questions one might have and being very helpful. I only can recommend the place. Cheers, Karim

we arrived only planning to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying for the full 7 nights of our trip. francisco was a fantastic host, and made us feel very much at home. the casa was a very beautiful period building with much character. el paso is also a great base for the entire island, being located pretty much in the middle. we fell in love with this unique island, and staying at la casa encantada only made our stay more memorable. we hope to visit again soon.

Francisco is a friendly and welcoming host. His house is in a lovely location for exploring El Paso and the surrounding area. My bed was clean and warm with a shower room nearby. When booking I had not realised that the rooms were large shared rooms but Francisco was kind enough to provide me with a comfortable room of my own. There is also acosy lounge and kitchen for the use of guests.

Francisco's place is admirable. Old, beautiful house and fantastic view from the roof. Francisco himself is great person - very friendly, helpful (provides accurate information about La Palma) and courteous. I'm looking forward to meet him again and spend a few days in his house again. I'm saying that even if El Paso is quite boring town.

Francisco was very helpful and the house was well equipped for a stay. He was quite flexible regarding arrival times and the bus stop is only 5 minutes walk away. The bedroom is large. There was a shortage of places to hang clothes etc. The decor is quite arty and attractive however. However, both the house and town (El Paso) are very cold in February, so I would recommend staying in the summer!

Response from Francisco:
Russel, was a quiet, friendly and educated person, lover of photography, came a few days to explore the island, and was moving through several counties. I'd say he was hardly noticed his stay, which was very discreet, a recommendable person Regarding your comment about the cold, confirm it clear that the step is cold in February, is an interior village, the highest and cold of Winter island, it must know who comes and tells a little, but clarify that the house, both the rooms and the living room has heating, the Roemer system with marble plates and resistance to heat, radiating heat and generating a more temperate climate, such a system does not generate air circulation and dust, and dehumidified. The rooms, although they are closed, this system maintains a balmy climate, although it is true that the living room of the house, is something cold, because it is very large and spacious and a single plate does not give enough to heat , which is why we plan to increase the heating of this room (URL HIDDEN)
