This is a charming apartment. It feels like a real home, complete with books and design details such a colorful tiles and photography. It's in a quiet, but very convenient/lively neighborhood. It feels like real Athens, as opposed to a tourist area. There's a lovely balcony. Georgios was traveling, but his friend was very helpful. Highly recommended.
Georgio was such an exceptional host. He gave us a detailed tour of the house and neighborhood and very useful tips on how to make the most of our short stay. Our airline lost our beloved guitar for days but luckily later was found, Georgio was so extremely helpful with helping us having it delivered to the house. The apartment is recently renovated, very clean, has strong AC (helpful in the Summer) and every amenity one could need. It is artistically charming and spacious with a large beautiful balcony, overlooking the bustle of the street below. The two bedrooms are equal in size and both comfortable, with closet space and individual AC units. There is an abundance of all necessities needed such as towels, blankets, etc. and everything is incredibly clean. The area, Exarchia, one could say a bit rugged, yet intensely charming. It has an abundance of alternative coffee shops, bars, and cheap yet amazing restaurants that are open surprisingly late. A strong recommendation if you are looking for a very real Atheian experience in the heart of a fun and lively neighborhood.
We had a very good time in Athens and enjoyed our stay in Exarchia and the lovely and colorful apartment of Georgios. It is situated close to Omonia Metro station and you can also walk to Akademias and Syntagma and the old center and explore Athen from there. Georgios is a great host. He explained us interesting places in the neighborhood, restaurants and bars. We had a very good time and hope to come back again.
Giorgios' place was wonderful - in the historic and vibrant Exarchia neighbourhood, and walkable to everything. Giorgios was kind enough to let us check in early (at 9 am!) after we came in on an early flight and gave us fantastic suggestions for things to see and do in the neighbourhood and the city. The place is spacious, well organized and incredibly comfortable. Thanks so much Giorgios!
