Villa Matahari, located just footsteps away from the beach in the traditional, seaside and exclusive village of Seseh, has become the preferred destination for high end customers willing to live a magical experience in the southwest coast of Bali.
Villa Matahari is a stunning property of 2.600 m2 plot and 1.200 m2 built areas, expansive gardens and extra large suites and bathrooms.
In order to keep the maximum standard of comfort we only accept 8 guests that can be accommodated in 4 suites, all of them furnished with a Extra King size bed.
On request, we can provide with one Adult Extra Bed and with 2 Junior Extra Beds (1,80 m x 0,80 m) for children under 14 years old.
We can also provide with 2 baby cots, high chairs, and a baby car seat, free of charge.
Rates include salaries of all household staff, cost of electricity, water, cleaning & gardening supplies, local taxes and so on.
The house is fully equipped with linen, crockery, utensils, drinking water, initial supply of soap, toiletries and amenities.
Once the guests are in the Villa the guests can order any suggested dish from our proposed menu. The chef or the butler can make the shopping and later will hand the bills and the change from the supermarket with no extra charge.
Rates do not include baggage handling, gratuities, telephone, fax & telegram charges, car rental, food, soft drinks/liquor, personal items & expenses.
Personal laundry service and spa services are not included but can be arranged by the staff on request with no extra charge over the bills of the local laundry establishment whose rates are very low.

The staff will try to adjust their schedule as much as possible to guests´ needs, but one leave day per week per staff member and some religious holidays should always be respected. A Service Charge could be asked for staff overtime working hours or additional staff if it is requested by the guests.
Guests will have free private access to all villa premises except to those areas exclusively reserved for Staff and Management (office, storage-room, maintenance rooms, laundry room, and staff quarters).
Interaction with guests
On arrival, the staff will greet the guests, including the General Manager, that could be contacted during the guests stay in case any especial problem arises.
Other things to note
Please be aware that citizens from some countries are required to apply for a Visa in an Indonesian Consulate before arriving to Indonesia. This Visas can take several days to process depending on the country and type of Visa required.
Citizens from some countries are qualified for a free tourist entrance valid for one month.
Please check with your nearest Consulate if you will be required to apply for any kind of Visa to enter Indonesia.
All passports should be valid at least 6 months after entering Indonesia.
All foreigners are required to be registerred in the nearest Police Station upon arrival to a Villa. The staff will collect all passports to do the registration and a small fee (around 3 USD per guest). After the registration the Villa Manager will return all passports. Unregisterred guests cannot stay (sleep) in the villa. Failing to do so will mean the inmediate temination of the contract and no money will be returned.
Illegal drugs are not allowed in the villa. Please beware Indonesia gives very hard punishment both for traffiquers and drug ussers. The staff will report inmediatelly to the police any incident regarding this matter,
Villa Matahari is inmersed in a very peaceful local community and we want to keep it like that, because of this, loud music or noise is not permitted after 10 pm. However, music is allowed until midnight or even later if a reasonable low level is kept.
Guests should always follow the Staff instructions regarding this matter in order to avoid bothering our neighbors.
Smoking is allowed in the villa but we will be very grateful if our guests avoid smoking inside the suites.
We love pets but for sanitary reasons are not allowed in the villa.
Matahari Management reserves the right to cancel the booking to any guest not respecting this rules and not behaving properly, especially when there is a visible risk to harm other guest, staff member, or to damage the villa or its belongings.
It will be considered a Special Event, those involving more than 15 guests in the House (including the guests registered at the villa).
Special Permits, and surcharges apply for Special Events.
For Special Events, a refundable Guaranty Deposit will be required and special Terms and Conditions will apply.

Villa Matahari reserves the right to ask for a monetary compensation for any property losses or abnormal damages made to the villa by the guests during their stay.
I discovered Bali on year 2000, and quickly fell in love with the island and Balinese people. On 2005 I finally decided this was the place were I wanted to live.
A few years later I married my Indonesian soul, Achi, an exceptional person and brilliant Chef that will delight our guests with her dishes while staying at Villa Matahari.
