Not really a 'private room' as you are in a lush forest alongside the beautiful McKenzie River. JUST BRING YOUR AIRMATTRESS and sleep peacefully, fish or gaze. Watch the whitewater rafters go by - or join them! You have a bathroom, hot water & kitchen use at the house. Great grill and beer garden a short walk away.
The gazebo is your private space. Beach is shared by homeowner and other guests. We respectfully ask our other guests to respect your privacy after 930pm.

The space

The gazebo is right beside the McKenzie River and the shared 'beach' along the river. We have provided a swing, chairs & table, and lounge chairs on the shared beach for guests and owners access.

Guest access

Bathroom facilities & kitchen usage at the house.

Interaction with guests

We're here as much as you want, or as little as you'd prefer.

Other things to note

We are more than happy to help you take your belongings to the gazebo. Just ask!
We have a new beer garden just down the street as well as the deli recently becoming a dinner/bar destination as well. Check out our newly upscaled neighborhood!

Jill's place is a perfect paradise in the middle of a scenic treasure. Jill and Jim are great hosts. I wish we had gotten to spend a little more time with them.

This "glamping" screened in gazebo has a stunning location a stone's throw from the McKenzie River. The entire area - the Willamette National Forest is an amazing place to explore. I particularly enjoyed watching the eclipse from Detroit Lake (about an hour north) and then paddling at Clear Lake on the way back to the airbnb.

This secluded gazebo was just as described--a unique spot for an overnight stay that is right on the river. The surrounding area has a fairy garden feel and the rushing river can add some excitement when rafters are floating by. Jill provided everything necessary to make our stay comfortable. We'd go back!

Oregon paradise. Riverside accommodations that felt like we were the only people in miles. Fishing was good. Very central to myriad upper McKenzie River hikes and destinations. Recommend to all who enjoy the great outdoors!!

Lovely hosts and a lovey getaway. We were looking for a quick simple getaway to relax and read a book. Their private beach didn't get quite as much sun in the afternoon as we were hoping, but it did in the morning. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the river. We are at the restaurant down the street which also had some organic grocery options. We ran along the McKenzie river trail, and then hiked to Blue Pool. We had a blast!

This place is fantastic! I brought my air mattress and slept soundly right next to the river in the gazebo. Truly a unique experience.
