Rahbar is incredibly welcoming host. He made all the best. And he also cooks very good, I recommend to try his kebab and fried potatoes. He is nice and always ready to answer your questions. I really appreciate this. Can't say the same about the house. There is only one bathroom for two floors, so it's always occupied, there are puddles on the floor, sand and hair in the bathtub. Rooms are stuffy and have no air conditioning or fans. At +33C it is a problem. Also pets are allowed inside (in description it says - not). Once I found guys with dog on the couch near the dining table. Dog was barking in early morning next to my door. And the internet is very unstable and slow. No way you can use it normally. The breakfast is always the same - two eggs and two sausages, sometimes not fresh. But it's close to airport - only 15 minutes to drive. Beach is in 40 minutes by bus. City center is about 40-50 minutes by public transport (bus and metro).

Response from Rahbar:
Ms. Anna, 1). First day of your arrival i showed you all rooms in my house , especially first floor which i never show to others. In this rooms there are AC and all comforts you needed. But when i showed you wooden floor( 3-rd) you liked it and decided to stay in this room. 2). About the hair in the bathtub, all guests living in the second floor came to me every day and said that a girl living in the third floor doesn"t take off her hair from the bathtub and do puddles on the floor of bathroom. If you remember a woman living in the second floor informed you about your hair in the buthtub and you answered that i can't see without my glasses. Then that wooman asked you when you come to bathroom please take your glasses too. When you finish your shower at least you needed to turn back and just watch to bathtub. 3). About pets, it was first time that i allowed pets come in. Before it i asked you about that dog, and you said no problem i like dogs too. That family with the dog drove long way (3 days) from Russia and when they reached to my house it was already dark and they were tired. Before they didn"t informed me about their pets, when they arrived i saw that small dog. As a host or a human being can't let them to sleep in the street. 4). About the distance to the beach: you were sitting all day in your room or sitting room reading a book and using AC in the sitting room, during your 1 week stay in my house may be you 1 or 2 times went to the beach. There are 8 beaches around my house and farest one is only 10 or 15 minutes to drive. Sometimes guests just walk there and come back the same. You can find the location of my house and the sea on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map and check the distance. It is 5-6km. How can a bus drive this distance in 40 minutes . Distance from my house to the city is 25-30 minutes by bus, but by public taxi it is 10-15 minutes. 5) About breakfast: everyday i buy fresh eggs, sausage, milk, sour milk, milk for the coffe, chees and butter, fresh hot bread from the supermarket and put your fridg for your breakfast. There are whole pack of tea and coffe on the table for the guests which you can have it whenever you want, ISN"T IT ??????.

Staying at Rahbar's was a really great decision. He made us feel very welcome and made sure that all our arrangements were closely coordinated. The rooms are as pictured -- and his place is just beautiful and spacious! Staying at a local's house definitely beats staying at a hotel. The place is quite far from the Old City and the City Center though so just make sure that your schedule allows for a bit of travel time. Rahbar makes a private taxi available so moving around is convenient. His family also made sure that things were all well. His nephews even took us to the beach which was a wonderful treat and his wife's sister also prepared us food. All in all, a lovely time.

What you are looking for in Baku? Nice and clean bed with perfect airconditioning? A flat with special kitchen that you can prepare what food you like? A Bathroom with hot water and washing machine? A garden with kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables that you can take anytime you like? Different rooms decorated for different taste of customers? An area between center of city, airport and nice coasts of Caspian Sea? During our stay at Rahbar Hasanovs villa we found all these and many more. Mr.Hasanov is a real gentelman who cares about his guests by perfect way. His special chicken grill is something I will never forget as taste. In center of Baku you stay in Hilton, Four Seasons or which big chain hotel you like and enjoy time by ordinary way. But at Mr. Hasanovs villa you enjoy different tastes of Baku and has chance to enjoy same tastes that you can have during your stay at all those chain hotels. I advice you to try here. You won't miss something.

I am 53 years old, by profession an English teacher. I am very responsible, open minded and friendly person. I love gardening, cooking, listening music, driving and travelling. I have lived in Uganda, as well as a few month in Jordan, traveled to Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria and Kenya.
Hosting with Airbnb has provided me access to people from around the world without every having to leave home. Guests arrive as strangers and leave as lifelong friend.
I enjoy sometimes sitting with my guests in the balcony which is surrounded by flowers and green trees and having homemade wine or chacha, eating national meals-plov, dolma and different type of kebabs prepared by myself.
