Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
A home to relax and experience a small town community within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and mingle at intimate local coffee shops. Super location, within 5 minutes access to I-10 and I-25, NMSU. A great place for travelers to have a home away from home to relax in. Only 10 minutes from Sonoma Ranch, Picacho Hills, and the new Las Cruces downtown area, to be able to enjoy all Las Cruces has to offer and embellish all the ambiance of our Southwestern New Mexico's charm.

The space
My space is a joy to me, I love sharing my home to the right guests. If you are interested in staying, you are welcomed with arms wide open. We use the old true adage, 'Treat those around you, like you want to be treated'.

Guest access
The Guest access is easy to get to, through two gates. The side entrance, is the one used most. This is a shared environment and shared entrance off the Sunny Sunroom.

Other things to note
Most places in Mesilla are within a walking distance, 2 to 3 blocks. The church bells from the San Albino Bascilla ring every morning for the hometown feel. History surrounds the Plaza and my home. It is one of the oldest homes in the area built in 1835. Enjoy Mesilla and its quiet, safe, ambiance while, taking in the flavors of food and drinks and live music the Southwest offers.

Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States

Mesilla is a Historic place to visit. Our Friday nights on the Plaza is only 2 blocks away, expect under the stars dancing and musical performances and festivals throughout the year. Festivities throughout Las Cruces and the surrounding areas keep everyone busy, that chooses to take in the pleasures of the area. A vintage movie theater, for evening activities, across from The Vintage winery, where local musical talents play evening music.

Hi my name is Maureen, I'm a native New Mexican. I was born and reared in Las Cruces. I've lived away from Las Cruces for 5 years after my 4 children were on their own. I lived and worked in TX and NV. Both places were a great experience. I came home to be close to my boys again as I do have 3 grandchildren now. I now appreciate the beauty of this area as it's growth has become a destination vacation spot, in all it's humbleness. I love hosting guests in my home and having an environment where it's safe, and peaceful for a quiet quality get away. 'Mi Casa Su Casa' is My Motto. I'm a music fan, and in the Historic Mesilla Plaza, there's live music all around to hear and see and enjoy within walking distance of my home weekly. The historic Fountain Theater, is 2 blocks away, the Plaza 3 blocks. The Rio Grande River, is a mile away within walking distance from my home too, it also makes for a great workout walking in the sand. The Weekly Farmers Market and festival activities In Downtown Las Cruces, where you can meet the nice people of this area while sharing in local crafts and foods. It gives you the opportunity for you to make your stay, your own. Feel free to text me, if youd like more information about myself or my home, or my home town.

During your stay
I like to have guest interaction, as we share and live in the same space. In the mornings, coffee is usually one early, and I welcome that timeframe to interact. I can always be reached through text, phone calls and Airbnb communications chat.
