My time at Memz's wonderfully spacious, unique, and welcoming abode was far too brief. I got to stay for two nights, the atmosphere was that of a home away from home. Memz was the most gracious host, and an all around interesting a d kind guy! Can't recommend this spot more!

Memz sent me a very detailed set of directions to the house and it was really conveniently located for me as I needed to get to Haneda airport the next morning. The house was well organised and clean and had everything I needed. It was quite expensive for what it was by international standards by Japanese prices are higher in general.

Response from Memz:
Thank you for staying here and update of the review. I will try to reflect idea on it! It was pity that you get to stay in the house for a very short time. House had guests in every room(and so many booking inquiries) that night and I did not have the chance to upgrade you. As a hose we have very large lounge to sit around and baths and Toilets, so bed room is just single person to sleep and rest of the time to be benefit from the spacious scale of the shared area considering the standard of miniature spaces in Tokyo. Best wishes,

Memz is a great host, the house is magnificent and the location is very convenient. This house is big and beautiful - four stories will plenty of room for the individual or a large group. There are several shared bathrooms, two with large tubs and plenty of hot water for a nice soak. The kitchen is easy to use with plenty of cookware and room in the fridge. A stone's throw from the train station, this house was easy to find and just a short walk. This thriving area of Tokyo provided plenty of entertainment. Memz even accompanied me to a quaint neighborhood bar where I obtained a memorable photo of the locals - kanpai!

Saw some of your photos in Naoshima! It looked very nice! I believe you are enjoying the stay i the island. Importantly, thank you for the very encouraging review and some advise as well! I think you came here for a reason! :) I shall catch you on your return to Tokyo! (Just FYI. The filming at this house has started!)

Hi
My mission is to make a Oasis in Tokyo for the locals and Visitors.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. I enjoy travelling both domestically and globally. I can give you good tips about travelling in Japan. Recently, I am into renovation of houses and apartments, especially in the way that ecological and renewable energy is adopted into conventional house. In terms of hobby, I play sports. Rugby football (mostly Touch Rugby though) and Aikido mainly.
I love outdoor activities. I go camping regularly to some islands off Pacific or Hokkaido in Japan.
Awakened up for spiritual world since spring 2013. :D Started to yoga and meditation recently. This has been keeping me pretty energetic and clear.
We have western rooms with beds and Japanese room with tatami with Futon mattress.
I try to provide casual open welcoming atmosphere but comfortable clean rooms so that you will have a great memory of your visit.

Importantly I try to protect the diminishing nature and make the urban environment greener and less hostile to all living by planting trees and seeds for flowers etc. I hope the concrete jungle Tokyo(and Japanese towns in general) will be more green and natural and welcoming for human habitation. This is what I put some energy. You will see the greenery around the premise.
