3 small, double rooms in a warm, cosy eco-home with a big heart. You will find yourself most welcome. There are takeaways of every type and shops at the top of the road. The city centre is only a short walk & the road is a cul-de-sac so it's nice and quiet.

The space

It's a small, warm home with a big heart. Optional veggie/vegan breakfasts for a small extra cost are made with locally sourced organic ingredients and can cater for any dietary requirements. Toast, cereals, fruit, teas and coffee are on the house.
Bike friendly!
Shared bathroom and kitchen. Free wifi.

I live at the listing and am available to help anyone staying to be as comfortable as possible. I'm self-employed and often work from home. I don't have a TV but can provide a screen for viewing DVDs and there's free wifi for watching I-player on your device.

I simply love Norwich and enjoy sharing information about the many fabulous things available here. It's an ancient city, safe, clean and friendly. Wonderful independent shopping quarters take Norwich into the top ten shopping places in England. There are 2 cathedrals and many historical buildings for those interested in history and architecture. Lots of local bands and performers choose from a whole host of lovely venues. Over the years I've done extensive research into Norwich's eateries and indie cafes and have found some real peaches. The university (UEA) was voted the best quality of student life in the country. Plus we have peregrine falcons regularly nesting atop the second tallest cathedral spire in the country. There's also a huge permanent outdoor market and a stunning central building called The Forum which holds events that are usually free to watch or participate in.

There's lots of public transport, regular buses, cycle lanes and places to hire bikes, plus many pedestrianised streets to give you a great walking/shopping experience. Norwich is a small city so you can walk across the centre in half an hour and discover it's quirky side streets and thriving community hubs.

We had a lovely stay with Anne. She is very kind and helpful, and cooked a great vegetarian breakfast for us. She lives in a quiet neighbourhood that is within walking distance to the city centre. Great host - thank you, Anne!

Anne's house is secluded, quiet and an easy walk (15-20mins) to the Theatre Royal where I was working, through the lovely old town. The house is quite small for 5 guests plus Anne, but I didn't spend much time here as I was out in town a lot. I was able to use the fridge and kitchen if I wanted to, and Anne provided snacks, water bottles and a lovely breakfast at a time convenient for me. She is a great host who makes sure you have everything you need - a very generous and welcoming person. As the house was full I stayed in Anne's garden cabin, which was secluded, dry and spacious. It doesn't have a bathroom so anyone needing nighttime facilities would need a room in the house - also, be sure to pack a dressing gown and some slip on shoes for the journey through the garden to the shower in the house. Those down in Norwich for work may want something a little more conventional, but overall a welcoming, peaceful place to stay.

Thanks for your kind words Rosie. My family enjoyed the show very much. You're very talented!

I'm a veggie, eco-friendly home and like to live lightly on the planet. I have 3 small (warm , clean and comfortable) double rooms to let. I love nature and always use the very best organic, locally sourced ingredients (wherever possible) in my breakfasts. Tea, coffee, cereal and toast are on the house. I love creating healthy green smoothies and creating new recipes and fresh juices. One of my favourite quotes is "The snow goose need not bathe to make itself white, neither need you do anything but be yourself." Lao Tsu
