The Blackball Jailhouse is formerly Blackball's Police station. The original jail cell is out back and can sleep 8 and will be available for hire later this year. The house is located in a lovely rural outlook with a view of the Paparoa range. Relax and have a drink on the back verandah and enjoy the peaceful setting. The property is fully fenced, secure and pets are welcome, please contact owner prior to your arrival. Please note I changed name and reviews are listed by Sammy’s Cottage

The space
We offer 3 rooms, 2 have queen size beds and 1 room with 2 singles. The jail cell also has 4 bunk beds to accommodate a group of 8 or just extra beds. We have a large bathroom with a extra large walk in shower and a claw foot tub. The owner lives on site but has her own en suite. We offer 3 BBQ grills for outside cooking and a large kitchen for food preparation and clean up. The cost of the room is $55 per person so for a couple you will pay $110.

The police station is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It is also a safe and secure location. The owner has a 14 year old border collie/Australian shepherd and he keeps the property secure. He will bark upon guest arrival, but rest assured he is social and well mannered boy. He also loves a good cuddle and a long snooze on the verandah.
