This place is absolutely fantastic! It's an older house and therefore has a great charm. We had the whole house, porch, and land to ourselves. Sitting at the porch, you can watch a gorgeous sunset (while BBQ'ing!). Communication was an ease as Jeff's aunt was next door the entire time and very responsive whenever we needed help. We rented the place for my father's 60th birthday party and had 12 adults and 3 kids and 1 dog over. There was more than plenty of space for everyone with space still left over. There is a grocery store nearby about 10 mins away to get all our supplies. However, you felt away from everything once you got to the house (which is exactly what we were looking for!). As far as cell phones, AT&T works and T-mobile does not. However, there is wifi in the house. Overall, GREAT experience and house. Would definitely recommend and return!!

Our three-generation family of 13 (ages 8 months to 66 years) gathered here for a week's vacation. Comfortable beds, loads of dishes, a wrap-around porch with breathtaking sunset mountain views, and convenient proximity to swimming, hiking, and music/arts made this a 5-star experience.

The house was fabulous. It is an older farmhouse with lots of character. Tons of room, a very comfortable and cozy living room, a huge dining room, a serviceable kitchen, and the most amazing porches with lots of rocking chairs and other outdoor furniture. We greatly enjoyed sitting on the porch both morning and evening, looking at the mountains and watching the sunset. Jeff was extremely responsive to our questions and needs and his aunt met us and showed us around the house. Everything you could possibly need is there.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful old farmhouse. We had a party of 14 adults and 5 kids, and everyone had a bed. The house has a lot of charm, plenty of space (especially on the porches), and a huge amount of lawn for kids to run around on. The fire pit was also a favorite spot after dark. The caretaker staying in the attached apartment was very discrete but was always available to answer questions. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a beautiful wedding at the Mayunsook Farm! We hosted 24 people for our party with a large kitchen for a pot-luck style dinner, a great shady space for outdoor dining, awesome horse-shoes pits, immense porches for watching the sun set, and a fantastic fire pit for late-night s'mores. 9 people spent the night with no problem. Each bedroom has a ton of character and the beds are super comfy. If you plan on having a large gathering at the farm, I highly recommend booking the night before and the night after the event for a more relaxed set-up and clean-up. Seriously, this place is BEAUTIFUL. You will want all of the extra time for peaceful breakfasts on the porch and nightly firefly spotting. Be aware that the host will most likely be in an adjacent apartment during your stay. Cory, our host, was very helpful and kind. It was nice to know that someone was there to help if something was not working.

The farmhouse was absolutely great! We had our small (15 people total) wedding there and had all the guests stay in the farmhouse. There were enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep. The beds were really nice and comfortable and everything was clean. We were greeted with a plate of delicious cookies :) The hosts had a garage full of lawn games (we played a lot of croquet and badminton). There was a very nice small river near the house which we and our guests enjoyed. The surroundings of the house are extremely beautiful! There is a lot of wildlife (we saw a fox, a bear, a chipmunk, blue birds and hummingbirds). We had about 4 people cook simultaneously in the kitchen and more would probably be okay too. The kitchen has everything necessary. The dining table was big enough to accommodate all 15 people. The back porch also was large enough for us and our guests to dance at the wedding. The hosts warned us about the water situation, but we did not have any problems (we all showered and used the dishwasher). Anyways, if you are looking for a place to have a small wedding, I would recommend Mayunsook farm. It is a very special place

The house was perfect for our family gathering of ten people - the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed eating on the porch and a bonfire in the evening. The mattresses are super comfortable, too!

I love the outdoors: hiking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, walking with my dog, disc golf. I love going to museums, watching movies, and architecture. I have been vacationing in the Northern Berkshires for 35 years of the 35 years i have been alive. I love the Berkshires and know everything there is to know about the area. My relatives were industrialists in North Adams during the late 1800's, so i know a lot about the history of North Adams. What is now MASSMoCA was an electrical factory owned by my relatives. We have a picture of all the workers in the electrical plant yard located in the hallway of Mayunsook Farm. This picture was taken in what is now the main entry of MASSMoCA.
