This was one of my best Air BnB stays. The apartment is located in such an excellent area, and quite safe, off of the main street. Big French doors that open up to open air. Comfortable bed, and felt right at home with Sophie inviting me to use the kitchen. Sophie and her son Robin were incredibly friendly. They gave me plenty of recommendations. Perfect stay, highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed with Sophie for 10 days while we stayed in Paris. We can honestly say that it was the best decision for our trip. We were looking for an airbnb host that would living in the same place so we could speak a little French, learn about the culture and get recommendations. Sophie was all that and more. She was incredibly hospitable, gracious and and kind to us - giving us lots of tips, advice and suggestions. She opened her home up to us, always having a baguette, jam and coffee available in the morning - multiple evenings she shared a drink and food with us when we returned from our long days of sightseeing and walking. Sophie's location was also great. We walked into Le Marais nearly every day and for further destinations, the bus and a few metro stops were very close. If we ever came back, we would definitely stay with Sophie again. Overall, Sophie made us feel like we were honorary family while we were in Paris. We would highly recommend booking with her!

If this place pops up and it works with your calendar, you should grab it, because it's not usually available. This is a beautiful and roomy flat, situated between two different Metro lines. Stay here and you'll feel as though you have stayed in a place that is quintessentially Parisian. What I grew to appreciate about this place during my four-day stay is that it is close to all the action in Le Marais while being on a side street that is quiet enough to let me sleep at night. The apartment also has its own private outside terrace, which is such a treasure. It's on the second floor and there is a lift which helps if you have really heavy luggage. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Sophie, but her son Robin was extremely helpful and pleasant.

What a lovely few days we had in Sophie's Parisian apartment. Sophie was very helpful, welcoming and friendly, but perfectly relaxed. We felt right at home. She was always offering tips and was very caring, even going to the market to get us fresh croissants and baguette in the morning, and offering us coffees whenever we pleased. The apartment (and room) itself was very comfortable and we loved the quirky, interesting decor. We really liked the area the apartment was in as we felt away from the touristy hustle and bustle, but close to interesting (and yum) areas and a lovely walk along the seine to many of the amazing museums, cathedrals and gardens. Thank you Sophie, Liv and Erin xo

Sophie is a gracious and warm hostess. We enjoyed our short stay at her beautiful Parisian apartment! She knows her neighborhood and her city very well and is very generous with her time and advice to us visitors. She goes out of her way to make sure we have a sweet homey experience. Both Sophie and her partner Thierry speak good English and are great conversationists that we enjoyed immensely. Sophie is a great communicator throughout the booking and visiting process. She was also very accommodating on our early check-in request and the late night return. Staying with Sophie was like a home away from home! Merci beaucoup Sophie!
