Other things to note
Chefchaouen deserves a couple of days stay so you can literally get lost in its unique streets and many shops.
It is also very interesting to devote another day visiting Akchour at the Talassemtane National Park, (only a 45 minute drive) to enjoy nature at its purest state… a lasting memory for children and adults.
For the more adventurous, there are trekking routes across the mountains which can last from 1 to 5 days. Guides and lodges available in situ.

We are a Spanish couple who, after travelling the world over, decided to live a simple life in this small Moroccan town. We feel grateful to be able to enjoy this simplicity and when we`ve had enough, we jump on a plane and fly to New York, Tokyo, Delhi, Lima or another crowded place. We have friends all over the world and now, through Airbnb, we can meet more people without leaving our home.
Our motto: LIVE AND LET LIVE
“Strolling through Chefchaouen is like being inside a Chagall painting”
