In boat excursion is common to see dolphins, turtles and the whale sharks make their appearance from May 15 to September 15. On the lagoon side is also possible to spot crocodiles and being lucky some extremely rare manatees.

I have been living on this little paradise since 2007, on Holbox I found the most ideal conditions to settle down and live: extreme quietness, friendly people and one amazing natural surrounding; not to mention the unique opportunity to go and swim with whale sharks at least twice a year.
