Interaction with guests
I'm home in the evenings and around at the weekends but might be out and about myself too. I'm happy to chat about things to see and do in Dublin and hear your stories from the day. Or if you like to just chill out and have your own time and privacy that's cool with me too. LGBT friendly space.
Other things to note
There's easy access to the main road network and transport connections if you wish to travel outside of Dublin or further on your journey. Heuston Station is a 10 minute walk which will connect you to the bus and rail network. The tram line connects both of Dublin's main train stations via the city centre.
As with any accommodation, noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 11pm at night. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or bedroom but there is plenty of balcony space if you wish to smoke outside. If you use the kitchen to cook, please tidy as you go. If you want to have friend's over during your stay, please let me know first.
I'm originally from Sligo, on the northwest coast of Ireland, but I've been living in Dublin for over 12 years now. I live just off James's Street, beside the Guinness Storehouse. I love hanging out with friends, meeting up for dinner and drinks or catching up at home. I also do some voluntary work in my spare time with one of the world's largest humanitarian organisations.
I've travelled a lot over the years, independently throughout Europe and also a good bit of North-eastern America. I love meeting new people and new experiences and had so many cool ones myself when traveling. My family home in Sligo is also a B&B and I still help out there when I can. So all of this is what has brought me to Airbnb.
Having lived in Dublin for over 12 years now I know a lot of the things to do and places to see, including all the off-the-beaten track spots aswell. So if you choose to stay in my place during your time in Dublin I hope you have a great time :)
