Unplugging is great for your health!
The barnyard is well lit. Headlamps and umbrellas are a good idea to pack.
You can walk our meandering gardens. If unoccupied, Casa Viva, overlooking the creek, has a very inviting porch and it is a wonderful place to hang out when it is raining to read, play cards, have a glass of wine or just listen to the rain on the tin roof. Across the road from Casa Viva you and your pets can refresh and get your feet wet in the creek.
If you are a musician and would like an audience, let me know and that can be arranged.
Interaction with guests
Please let us know when you plan to arrive so we will be on point to greet you and plan the flow of our day. All 4 of our dogs are friendly. Elsa and LaLa, our lab mix will no doubt greet you first. Elsa will probably have her flying squirrel ready for a new play partner. LaLa, little Tucker and Vincent are our police officers, but all talk.
If arriving in the evening after 8 pm, we may not be available to greet you. The barn will be open. We will meet you in the morning, as we are early birds.
We will openly communicate with you to make sure your needs are met, without interfering with your privacy.
You can pre-order breakfast and dinner if you wish. If you are interested, request our catering menu. All catered meals are served from our house, at a mutually agreed upon time, or you have many options for places to dine on the property. Catering and a few "camp store" items such as charcoal, some beverages and cut firewood bundles are available. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask. Leave us a note/text if we are out.
Other things to note
