House Rules
We try to keep the rules simple:

- Please don't smoke inside the room. Pets are not allowed, and room is non-smoking .
smaking a som noise in a room is not possible to do this .

- All musical instruments, stereos, radios, and your voice volume, etc., should be at a volume that won't disturb the neighbours. Sometimes this can be quieter in Japan than other countries.

- Please ask us if you want to invite anyone over. If someone is staying overnight there is an extra charge which is 2500Yen per person.

- Please wash any dishes you use and try to leave the apartment in about the same condition as when you arrived. It helps us a lot to maintain a comfortable and clean environment.

- Please always give a smile to the neighbors or property manager if you see them :). Some of them may worry about new guests arriving so a smile is important!

- Please turn off the lights and air conditioner when you are out the apartment. We want to help the environment.

- Check-out has to be done by 10:00 am. I'm sorry but we have to charge you 3500 yen per hour for late check-out. It's because we have to pay the cleaner for the extra hours and it will cause trouble for the next guests arriving.

If you could treat our place like it's your own house we will be happy :)

You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs - The stairs are 18 steps. There is a landing.

Our second stay here was just as good as the first one ! The apartment is squeaky clean and has all the amenities stated in the description. It is located in a quiet residential area a few minutes wall from the subway station. Maskatsu provided pletnoy of suggestions for nearby restaurants and information on how to best reach other areas of Tokyo. The free tickets for the Onsen next door were highly appreciated, too, a definite must do if you are staying here. A great base , again , for our exploration of Tokyo, hope to be back before too long !

This room is close to train station and is well-equipped with everything we need, the owner even prepare an electric rice cooker specially for us upon request. The pocket wifi is very good to use. Although it takes around 30 minutes of train to get to most of the tourists attractions, it is a nice place to stay if you are looking for some escape from city. The hot spring is very recommended to have a try.

A small, fully equipped apartment in a quiet suburb only 5mins walk from beautiful scenery, restaurants, shopping and the Shinjuku Line subway. Such an awesome place to base ourselves in Tokyo - it was so nice to come home to such a quiet, safe space after spending the day in such a huge city. Masakatsu-san was super friendly and helpful and always accessible, and the stay came with free access to a foreigner and tattoo friendly onsen next door. When we coffee back to Tokyo, we will stay here again!!

Close to station and shops. Room had almost everything we needed except adding a microwave would be a great idea. Probably more a 3 person than a 4 person room but if you have 2 small kids then the couch works fine for one of them. Host was excellent and even went to the shop and bought us something to eat and drink at no charge when we arrived really late. It's a really safe area and would thoroughly recommend anyone staying there and if I am in Tokyo again I will look for this place first. Thanks for a great 3 days.

This was perfect ! We could not have chosen a better place to stay, the apartment was well equipped and clean , the neighbourhood is quiet and charming, with stores, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby. Masakatsu provided plenty of helpful information in advance including directions to different areas and sights as well as great restaurants which we may otherwise would have missed out on . The local Metro station is only a short walk away, and we were able to reach anything we wanted to see and do around Tokyo by train in reasonable time, Funabori never felt too remote. The free tickets for the Onsen bath house next door were highyl appreciated , after a long day out around town the best thing to do is a relaxing soak in the hot spring water ! We hope to come back to Tokyo before too long, and if we do we will certainly choose Masaktsu's place again . Many thanks for the great stay !
