This apartment has two bedrooms and lots of living space - a large living room and another seating area with a balcony. It's a warm homely space for a family or a group of four or five people.
Here you can feel at home in your own space, and yet still be a part of our home. You share our front door, but once up the stairs the area is for your use only.
You have exclusive use of the top floor of the house which is a large living space. Although you have a sink and facilities for making tea and coffee there are no cooking facilities, but we provide breakfast for you downstairs in our own living room.
Interaction with guests
We are around to answer questions as needed. We enjoy spending time with our guests when we can.
Other things to note
Please note there is no kitchen in this space, and you do not have access to our kitchen. However, we provide breakfast, and we are a short walk from Kiruna's cafes and restaurants. You do have access to a kettle and a fridge, and by arrangement with us we will provide plates and cutlery if you wish to bring home a takeaway meal and eat it at your own dining table. We ask you not to make strong-smelling soups.
We ask you to be quiet after 10.30pm, especially coming in and out of the house and your room.
You can smoke outside our house on the covered verandah, but not indoors or on the balcony.
We ask you not to wear outdoor shoes in the house - you may want to bring some slippers.
No cooking or eating of cooked food (including soups) in the upstairs of our house.
We live in Kiruna, Sweden, far north of the arctic circle. Lynne is originally from London, England, and Rolf is from Sweden. We love the open landscapes of the far north of Sweden, and the very cold white winters. We find the environment here both beautiful and challenging and we enjoy sharing our enthusiasm for the area with guests in our home. When we travel we find that the time spent talking to people who live there is what brings a place alive for us.
We both like to explore, walk, not going anywhere in particular.
