Cosy studio in the Castle district, next to the Strahov monastery, to enjoy your stay in a complete calm and visit the city by walk. Anything you need, from a grocery store to pubs and excellent restaurants, is around.

The space

A studio in the Břevnov neighbourhood, with some of the finest and affordable restaurants around. In a recently renovated "International style" building from the 1930's, a former Post and Telegraphs directorate, with a large window into the courtyard. A full-scale kitchen with dishwasher. Unlimited high speed WiFi is available. You're on holidays, be flexible: the apartment is ready for you when you come, and we clean it up after your departure.

Guest access

Anything you need is located at the doorstep: a supermarket open until 11pm, restaurants, pubs, cafés. If you are coming by car, a free parking place in the locked courtyard is available for you (on prior reservation).

Interaction with guests

We are available on the phone and nearby in case of any need, but the apartment is privately rented to you. We have a seven year experience in renting out holiday homes in Prague, to our customers' (having sometimes become friends) entire satisfaction.

Other things to note

All necessary information, and above all itineraries, hints for exchanging local currency, and good places to eat and drink, will be provided to you in a single document, very much appreciated by our tenants.

Great location, great apartment - clean and cosy, with good and very large bed - all as described. Very convenient for pubic transport too. Hosts were pleasant and very helpful either. Thanks!

The place is in a very quiet neighborhood (with little open late) but oh-so-close to Bella Vista, Vrtba Gardens, and other attractions (can ride all the way to National Theater) due to the No. 22 tram. In short, this location gets to most tourist spots in under 30 mins (so you can just pay the CZK 24 fare for 30-min rides). This tram also runs very late too (or you can Uber). Next, bed is super comfortable yet firm. It IS hard to get up to the bed loft (not recommended for tipsy persons drunk from amazing Czech beer, or older travelers). Once up there, it is very safe--no chance of rolling out. There is a single person fold-out sofa bed but we didn't try. On the other hand, the WiFi was spotty and weak when I used it--no signal up at the bed loft and 2-bars or 3 bars (out of 5 bars) when sitting right next to antenna.

Jakub's place was very conveniently located to my conference venue, as well as to other amenities like groceries, restaurants, and nice pubs. I really enjoyed my stayed and would recommend it to anyone

Jakub's place was great! It is close to public transit although we decided to walk to and from the city instead. It is uphill on the way back from the city which was great for us to get excise in. We enjoyed being able to walk to Charles Bridge every morning for sunrise. The apartment is small but is set up really well and the bed feels like a fort. Thanks Jakub for a great stay!

Tiny but very efficient use of space! We had everything that we needed for two people. The area was lovely, and we appreciated Jakub's suggestions for the local store and restaurants.

I would like to live again in Jakub's cozy house. It is really nice for couple. We had a good holiday in Prague.

Jakub User ProfileJakub is a superhost.

Hi, we're Markéta and Jakub. Since we got married and moved to Luxembourg for work, we started renting out our studios in Prague, where we lived as students and later as young managers. Since high school we studied in central Prague and chose really the best place to live: that's also a guarantee you won't be badly surprised by an apartment far away from the center, in a crappy city district, or in tourist "Potemkin villages" the medieval city centre has, alas, turned into. We like travelling, meeting local people, and we endeavour to make you share the same experience. In both our locations, we recommend you the best places to go, the best walks around, the best itineraries by public transport so that you don't depend on taxis. And we (or our colleagues if we're abroad) will be there to welcome you and show you around. If you're not sure about anything, just give us a call before or during your stay!
