Charming self-contained upstairs suite, full of light, with lovely outlook on our beautiful seaside village. Five minutes walk to beach and Queen Elizabeth Park, a wonderful forest and dune environment great for walks, biking, picnics. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with minimart, fruit and veg shop, cafes and pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Paekākāriki Escarpment walk.
The space
Our upstairs suite is accessed through its own entrance off the patio. The suite comprises a double bedroom, bathroom and separate lounge/dining area with kitchenette facility, plus a balcony. The suite gets all day sun, and there's also an extensive garden for outdoor relaxation.
There is a small kitchenette, with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. We provide cereal, tea, coffee and milk.
Laundry facilities are available on request.

15/3/2020: Our response to Covid-9: the health of our visitors is very important to us. While Covid-9 (Coronovirus) is in New Zealand, we have changed our booking settings so guests can't automatically book. We will be asking every guest if they have arrived in the country within 14 days. If they have, we will not accept the booking, as the Ministry of Health now recommends that everyone arriving must self isolate (with some exceptions - https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-novel-coronavirus-information-specific-audiences/covid-19-novel-coronavirus-advice-travellers).
We are a family of four, our children are 10 and 12. You may hear them being their lively selves, but they are certainly well beyond the early morning wake-ups. These days, we are usually awake before them ;).
