I needed a place to stay in Bomarzo, as I had decided that, on my way back from the Naples area, I wanted to see the gardens. Massimo responded right away and accepted my reservation swiftly. I got there on time and Monica was waiting for me at the Casa del Sole. This is a lovely house in the center of Bomarzo. It could be your grandma or aunt's house in the country anywhere in Italy. A simple, yet very dignified place, pristinely clean and located on the slope of a gree hill with a lovely view of the countryside. Monica was very welcoming and attentive. I was also grateful she provided me with the address of two places where I could have dinner that late. In the morning, after a long walk around town, I found her there at nine, with breakfast ready. Breakfast was abundant and included a bun cake and a crostata. The best part of my short staying, though, was Monica's obvious love for the town and the activities around town. From the Bomarzo Gardens to the orchids that grow in that area to the description of an Etruscan pyramid hidden in the "macchia", for which she even provided me with literature, she was inexhaustible in providing information. In the end, in spite of all the coordinates, i got lost three times and never made it to the pyramid, but I'll go back. Definitely a very positive experience.

Cute room and bathroom in upstairs of home. Host does not speak any English, but we communicated well via gestures and smiles. She was very kind. Host does have cats, but this didn't bother us. She made us a lovely breakfast!

Perfect time in Bomarzo. Really simple room but beautiful view from the balcony. The host took us at viterbe, it was really nice. If you have time, do the "pyramid" visit, it really worth it !

Bomarzo is a dream place with amazing views, sights, and ancient vibe. The b&b has a lovely informative host living downstairs and the upper floor is all yours. This is a good place to call home for a few days while you explore. The old town center is like an opera stage set, walk up to see the fog in the gorge in the morning. Food and parking options are limited in town but don't miss this special place that time forgot.

Good BnB. We were the only people staying, but I did think we would have the entire place and access to kitchen, but it's more of a bed and breakfast.
