Located in the heart of the historical center of Siena, Attilio-Camere offers clean, comfortable rooms, each with its own private bathroom with shower. An excellent arrangement for visiting the city of Siena or for taking day trips to nearby Chianti

The space

We offer four private rooms each with its own bathroom with shower, located in a building just 100 meters from the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo.

Guest access

All of the rooms are provided with sheets and towels, a television, and free wi-fi access. Although wi-fi signals are not great inside the rooms, because of a very thick wall along the central hallway, guests are welcome to sit in the reception area when using internet. There is a refrigerator and microwave shared by the guests, but actual cooking is not allowed. We also provide an electric kettle, hair-dryer, and shampoo etc upon request. We provide daily cleaning of the rooms.

Interaction with guests

We are usually present during the morning, and then we are 'in and out' during the rest of the day. Our home is just down the street, so we are easily tracked down when necessary.

Other things to note

Ours is a quiet, laid-back environment, in a very convenient location. Guests are given a set of keys that allow them to come and go as they wish, without time limits.

We so enjoyed our stay in Siena at this quaint location. Our room had a very comfortable bed with a clean bathroom. The shower had excellent heat and water pressure. Deborah also provided us with a small space heater to make sure the room's temperature was comfortable for us. In the lobby area, Deborah showed us a chest of drawers where we could get a hair dryer, shampoo, and other amenities should we need them. Our favorite feature of this place was its central location. We were literally two minutes from Il Campo by foot and very near to many interesting shops and restaurants. Deborah even provided us with a detailed map of Siena upon arrival and pointed out several recommended restaurants. I cannot say enough good about this accommodation. Even with its central location, it was very quiet at night, and Deborah made check-in and check-out easy and simple. This is a special place!

The rooms are in a central street of the city center, and it is the ideal place in order to visit nearby all the attractions. Even if the structure is very simple everything is clean, rooms are silent and Deborah is always available to help you.

Deborah was in constant contact with us and provided many recommendations for sights to see. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. The location was perfecto! Lots of places to eat nearby and taxi service was close by if needed. We took a day trip to Pienza and Montipulciano which I highly recommend. Deborah helped us research rental cars and directions. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Attilio Camere!

It has been fun communicating with Italian speaking hosts, but it was a relaxing pleasure to chat for a good long while with a host for whom English is her native language. Deborah provided all the information we needed in Siena, writing on a map and pointing us in the direction of good restaurants, etc. The room was just as pictured, bed was comfortable, and the fan provided moved air well. Temperature cooled down nicely over night, so we slept comfortably even without air conditioning. The bathroom was very modern and clean. Interesting large thin towels that worked well. Duomo was literally steps from our front door. Small green grocer across the street (milk, fruit), and a larger grocery accessible on foot. We drove to Siena in rental car; not sure this was best here as parking, although free, was 20 mins walk, over by Fortezza. Everything you want to see in Siena is accessible by foot from this room; great, quiet location. WiFi worked best sitting at table in common area.

Deborah was an excellent host. She provided excellent communication and directions. Her place is located very close to the Campo, and it was very easy to find it coming from the bus station. The place itself is everything you need- quiet location, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Great room. Very clean, no-frills, great value, with a nice bathroom and enough space for 2-people to unpack and spread out. Deborah met us upon arrival and oriented us to the building as well as provided a helpful map of Siena to orient us to the town. She was very welcoming and easy to talk to. Comfortable bed (albeit maybe short length if you’re very tall). Neat view of town out the window--we were in the room at the end of the hall. You can walk to the main square (Campo Il Palio) in about 1-2 minutes once you’re down at the street. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering how busy the town is during the day. Siena is a wonderful town - it’s already on our list to visit again when we’re able to come back to Italy. We’d stay here again too. Wifi was decent from the lobby, but spotty in our room. We relied on wifi extensively throughout our travels - it was important to us to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)/Facetime each day with our 2-year-old daughter staying with grandparents so we were demanding customers in this respect. Checkout was at 11:00, but Deborah graciously let us store our packed bags in the office area until we left town at 2:00.

I enjoyed my stay at Deborah's. She was very helpful with suggestions and she is a nice person. The room is basic and clean. I enjoyed it very much. And the location is perfect! between the Duomo and Piazza del Campo.
