The room and the view were delightful. Also appreciated that were so many books on the shelves- almost regreted having brought one and spending some of the day reading in the bed. Room was spacious for the odd combination of me and my dad, with the help of the ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and with options. We shared the meal with recurrent guests ofMartin and Louise's. Very pleasant, good information on how to get to the house and great and helpful hosts.

One of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed in. A beautiful home with unmissable views, fabulous hosts and a huge breakfast. Well positioned to explore all the surrounding areas.

This B&B is glorious - the room is exactly as pictured, the bathroom spotless and you can lie in bed in the morning and listen to the birds singing. Martin (Louise's husband) was so welcoming and kind and managed our muddy clothes/furry dog without batting an eyelid. We had the best breakfast, visited the goats and left in high spirits. This is a great place to stay if you're in Tiverton.

Louise and Martin were very welcoming, helpful and kind during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, the room very clean and comfortable, with a wonderful view. We really enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens, and chatting with such warm hosts.

We'll certainly take you up on your air freshener suggestion - thanks for that. To contact us during the power cut was a problem as we were at a concert so my mobile was turned off. We've been thinking what we could do and maybe to have a second person 'on call' would be the answer. We'll work on it!

House is located on the edge of the city. It feels like it's in the forest but everything you need is in short reach. Quiet ambient. Hosts are very friendly, also their two dogs. There was no problem setting the arrival time in the evening. Louise was waiting for us with a cup of tea and homemade biscuits. The room and the view is exactly as on the photo. In the morning we got some nice tips for visiting Bristol and a full map next to the delicious breakfast. The only funny thing are those english sinks with two taps :) I recommend this place and would come again. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Selby!

Response from Louise:
Thanks for your lovely review Aljaz. I hope you made it to Bristol ok and had time to see some of the sights. Interesting about the sinks and two taps - not at all unusual here! It's like the way we give animals human names - just a bit different to Slovenia I guess! We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in England.

My friend Paola and I were traveling from Coventry to see Tintagel Castle and wanted to stop in the English countryside en route. Martin and Louise were very welcoming--we had tea in the kitchen and Martin took our bags upstairs to our room. The bedroom, the view, are exactly as pictured on airbnb. They live at the end of a narrow lane, and the countryside is so peaceful. We were there for only one night, but the stay was very relaxing. Louise directed us to The Trout for dinner--we highly recommend it--and breakfast was made by Martin. The other guests were very welcoming, too, of a traveling Italian and American! We were going to tour more in the SW of England and Martin pulled out the maps to give us suggestions. I highly recommend this bnb -- I wished that we had time to stay another night to explore Tiverton more and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Martin and I run a small and friendly bed and breakfast on the edge of Tiverton. We have two dogs, two Angora goats and four chickens. We've done B and B for 6 years and love meeting so many different people. We are very informal. I use the mohair from my goats to spin and then knit - but it's a slow process! I love all things textile and crafty. Martin is a keen golfer, loves all sport and does most of the garden. I try to grow a few vegetables. I don't eat meat and Martin eats lots. We both love walking in the Devon countryside with our dogs. We're also rather keen on food and cooking, despite our differing tastes.
